3RRL Has a great setup for the rifle he carries with him on his tractor.

Pretty clean gun and tractor!

If I did that my gun would need cleaned daily  fine, silty dirt we got here.

357 in the pocket keeps it clean, and easily accessible.
I find myself stopping to shoot targets more now though too

Hey, nobody said criminals were smart.:D

A Thousand Ways to Die had a crook try to hold up a jewelry store in a pair of stockings for a mask. Thing is, he went in the wrong door and ended up next door. And announce a holdup to a .........................................gun store.

we had a big pawn shop get robbed here at gunpoint a while back.

crook took a couple shots at the owner with a small revolver, store personel took a few shots at the crook.. crook ran out and died in the street from multiple GSW's.. no one in the store was hurt.

here ya go "jesnic", not much but the idea is there. the reach is about 8" more than the throttle. I used a Web Belt wire clip, once I secured it to the holster it does not rock as much. You can see where the paint rubbed off before it was done. Anything to hang the holster anywhere is great, ya just want the holster to easily be removed.

Good Luck, Be Creative !!!

I used to carry a sig p-230 in .380.. but that is a medium / large framed gun. I now carry a keltec P3AT in .380 quite a nice pocket gun...

What do you think of that P3AT? Have been trying to decide b/w that, the Taurus 738, the Kahr P380 and the Kahr PM9. The PM9 is slightly larger, but also is a 9mm.

While you're looking, check out the Ruger LCP. Very nice little .380.

Rhett, That's perfect. Looks like a piece of chain going from the top of the holster to a screw in the hood? Also, what did you attach the bottom of the holster to that will keep it from swaying and bouncing. I can't see the web sling. BTW, what is the pad lock for?

jesnic, Yes small chains to screws w/fiber lock nuts in the hood. The attached picture shows a Web Belt clip like used by the Armmed Forces, the key ring demonstrates how it is attached to each chain. There is no bottom fastener, just the two pieces of chain, the modern holsters are pretty well padded so I just let it bounce. Maybe by letting the holster bounce with the gun, it keeps the pistol from bouncing out of the holster ??? dunno, using it for a couple of years this way and my pistol has never bounced out of the holster.

Pad Lock is to secure the chain I run through my rear tires and around the frame to secure my little girl. The ignition key is useless for security on a diesel, jump the solenoid and she will fire right up. Battery might not charge, but a thief or joyrider will not care about that.

Hope I helped a little
Good Luck
