thanks for the explanation muhamed, still seems a bit odd how mine and some others posts were removed when questions were asked about the product and were repeatedly dodged. i didnt think that was outa line but i can see how advertising dollars dont flow if they arnt effective. however that said i dont see how asking what his previous experience with hydraulics was would be bad, if he had answered it saying he had very little hands on experience but wanted to learn what he could then the forum woulda welcomed the chance to teach him likely, instead he avoided the question again and every point anyone made to him he argued back, we are the market he needs to be knowledgable about but he seems to have little intrest in that.

It's possible that your post was removed because it had to be in order to maintain the flow of the thread. You are welcome to re-post your question.

Is it normal to have to remove that many posts? I would think that kind of action spurred by one advertiser or member would raise some red flags. I belong to other discussions boards that foul language, serious personal attacks, or inappropriate advertising are the only things that get deleted, heated debates that get personal are locked, but not deleted. Seems like advertiser protection to me, which isn't necessarily bad, it is your game and your ball, just more information on how you like the game played. I will do my best to refrain from participating in such debate in a public way in the future.

Thanks for responding to the situation so we all know what happened, and how it was dealt with.

That should be ok---not sure when it was removed. Keep in mind that we do continually update our policies so what might not have been allowed in the past may be allowed now.

Some of you fellas must have extremely short memories as to what you posted before it was removed. There were comments about the integrity of the original poster, rude remarks towards the original poster and rude remarks referring to the morals of the moderators (who have ZERO to do with the business conducted at TBN).

Paying advertisers at TBN help to keep it free for the rest of us. If you do not care for the products they offer for sale, do not buy them. Pretty simple. You wouldn't walk into a store and start telling the other customers that they are selling products that you don't like and not expect to be told to leave the store, would you?

Very well stated, for some people the internet is so annonmous that they feel they can be rude with no ramifications.
I am glad that TBN did something about it this time, wish they had done something about it in a few other threads.

Just my two cents worth

While I am not saying you should be a tattle tail, if something bothers you speak up.
Report the thread. If nothing happens drop a pm to a moderator!!!!!

I learned a long time ago that it is speak up or put up with it.
