2650 Snowblower fit on a bx1800?

Probably a stupid question, but does anyone know if a Kubota 2650 snowblower will fit on a bx1800? From what I've seen so far, it seems that it may be better suited for a "b" series tractor... I'd like to come up with a snowblower before winter and have been leaning towards a rear mounted one so I could leave the FEL on in the front. Also, it seems the max width I'd be able to run with the bx1800 is about 50". Is that correct? Thanks so much for the help.

The B2650 wa sfor the old B1750, B7300 and other B50 models - from the late 90s and early 90s.

The correct blower for a BX1800/2200 is the BX2750B. It needs a subframe kit and the mid PTO shaft to work as well as a loader valve to raise / lower and turn the chute.

Be sure the loader valve is a four position - if the standard 3 position, the chute will move one way and not the other as the regen circuit does not have enough power to do the task.

I made an adapter to use the B2650 on my BX2200. Works great and is heavier duty than the BX2750. The hardest part about any add-on utilizing the mid PTO on these BX series is finding a 10 spline PTO shaft for a reasonable price.

I talked to him and it came off a BX1500, You could find out if it would fit the BX1800. I'd buy it, but to much to ship to Wisconsin and I still have to buy the 4 position valve.

Mike, thanks for the input. I was actually watching that auction and was considering driving to new jersey to pick it up if I win. I'm trying to figure out if the sub frame kit is included or not, though.....

If the 2650 has the short PTO shaft included, you are half way there. That PTO quick couple will fit the mid mount PTO shaft. By changing out yoke halves and utilizing a standard 1 3/8" PTO stub shaft and yokes, I made a 2650 work on my BX22. Old School helped me out with some pictures of his set. I think I had about $200 in parts and materials in it. I all ready had a hydraulic cylinder to use. If you have some mechanical abilities in can be done.

Thanks to everyone for the help! As luck would have it, I just found an almost brand new (used 3 times and bought last year) front mount bx2750 for $1700 a half an hour from me. Will be picking it up in the am!
