can you just break one part of the tire loose with it on the tractor?
I never tried it that way, but I doubt that you can.
I just took them off as I described earlier. Only takes a few minutes with a floor jack, and besides, you may need both arms and legs to get the bead to 'reseat'.

I"m just trying to get the rear wheels to quit spinning when the box is only about 1/4 full.

If I Remember Correctly, I blocked the rim up off the ground, in the center(after I got one side partially broke), that way when the fluid was added, it kept the bead tight on the one side. Then I added the fluid to the topside thru the 'small' opening I made. Then when adding the air, I squeezed the tire with every body part I had to get it it inflate.

DON87, thats what I am worried about. If I break the bead I may catch, Hades, getting them to seal back up. If thats the situation, I may as well carry them and have them done.

I understand fully, but weight in the tires is the only thing you can do , other than purchasing a larger tractor.

As you can see by my avatar, I have a Massey Ferguson GC2400, I just worked almost a half acre of ground with turf tires.
First the plow, then the cultivator, My tires are loaded with Rimguard.........And I still spun (big time) with the tractor in 4 wheel drive with the differential lock engaged.

I come from a 'tire changing' background, so it was easy for me. But like I said.........block the rim up, only break one side(with a screwdriver), just enough to pour the fluid in. You'll be fine.

Another tip, the 'backside of the rim' is where the tire comes off when changing.............break the other side down.
Hope this helps

And yet another tip..............if you find it hard to 'reseat the bead'.........grab a ratchet strap, tighten it around the tire......then add air.........should seal right up.
