Anything you guys have done to your BX's to make them better?
There's no way to set the rear tires wider, right?

One of the first things I did to make mine better was to get rid of the turnbuckles on the TPH and put on the telescoping stabilizers, then after breaking the blades off the hydro fan, I made a plate to hang on any time the MMM is off. I also added an oil gauge and voltmeter. Dual wheels to use in the woods on a hillside. The beast is now 9yrs.old and would have to look it over to make a complete list.

"There's also an unused wire with a connector under the hood. Anyone know what it's for?"

Nothing! it serves no purpose. I understand from reading posts that the same wire harness is used on several tractors and the connector is used by others BUT not the BX2200.

That's what I was leaning towards as well.

The rear connector was hot on mine with the ignition on. In other words, I had to put a switch between the plugs and the light, oh, and a fuse just in case.

Does anyone know of a way to get a decent sized toolbox on the BX somewhere? Really need to carry fence pliers, cell phone, maybe a gatorade jug.

Anyone fab one up or does Kubota offer something?

I use a small toolbox that I got at Sears, pop riveted it to the sheet metal.

Almost seems like a large wire basket that hooks to the 3pt arms, like a sort of "carry-all" would be nice. I have a lot of low branches to prune. What would be awesome is a way to carry my Stihl power pruner, but I think it would stick out and get clobbered by a branch.

If your BX lifts the deck with the 3 point arms, you may not want that. We have to watch the height of the 3 point arms on our B7500 or they can drag in the dirt.
The BX2660 doesn't have that problem as we removed the arms the day it came home.
