I hadn't noticed the photo before. Norm, I agree.Unless I am totally confused, the broken item in your picture is the banjo bolt that retains the fuel line. The bleeder screw screws into the top of it.

The first pic is the broken banjo bolt and the fender bolt i swiped to replace it temporarily. The second pic is the hole that the banjo came out of, which I thought was the bleeder but now i see the second screw head on the left that looks like a bleeder too. Anyways, my fender screw will thread into where the broken one came out of, but it is a tad bit longer and i dont wanna screw all the way down unless i know it will be safe to do so.
It is the bleeder screw on the fuel pump. Can I screw it all the way down so it seals, or do I have to watch out for the depth you think?
Put a nut on the bolt and tighten that against the washer with the bolt just in as far as feels right.
Excellent idea. Just be sure and bleed before tightening down. You can order the correct screw, (shown above), and still have your fender screw intact.
