Just curious, Neil, if you know whether the competing NH subcompact has had any similar "stops too fast/stops too slow" issues, or if anyone might comment about the comparable JD or MF equipment. Not trying to sow the seeds of controversy, but I'm guessing that getting the actuator design just right on these small tractors is a bit of a trick due to size, weight and cost parameters (and different people seem to want different things).
The BX's before the 50 series and the BX's after the 50 series did not have this problem. It wasn't the Kubotas, it wasn't sub compacts and it wasn't the different BX models. It was the 50 series BX's..

It's not as bad as it has been hyped up to be. If you are working in low range, which I tend to be when I'm doing loader work, it's hardly noticeable. In high range, the annoying part is spilling part of your load with the stop. You just gradually take your foot off the pedal and slow down in increments rather than just going from the reverse pedal to thr forward pedal. JMO.
