Hope he stays in liberal Canada.
Hey not all Canadians are liberals. Some of us have true red necks.
Hope he stays in liberal Canada.
Now, don't go assuming he is a liberal just from a single comment. For all we know he could be a conservative with deep guilt over his own racist thoughts trying to overcompensate. Many people I know are hypersensitive and see their own shortcomings in everyone around them. I think it is called Projection, and the worse it is the more they attack. I think it is enough to throw a bit of light and let them see their own folly, but not rub noses and make the guilt level rise.
I can make a slight correction, no let's say addition to the otherwise accurate info. so far listed: (additional information is relative to 5000 series and above)
2000 series - is made mostly in Osaka Japan By Yanmar. This includes the frame, engine assembly (perhaps transmission too...unsure). Final assembly is Augusta GA! Regardless of what else is made where, the bulk is Yanmar (note Yanmar plates on engine and frame, deere plate on ROPS assembly).
3000 series - engine is Yanmar! Other items are from varying places. Final assembly is Augusta GA! (Note Deere plate on frame----Moline Illinois)
4000 series - engine is John Deere Powertech (Made in Mexico at Deere facility). Other items are from varying places. Final assembly is Augusta GA!
5000 series - engines (2.9 or 4.5) are John Deere Powertech (Manufactured in Mexico at Deere facility). Other items are from varying places. Continue for tractor origin
5000D - tractor is made in Pune India! (It is my assumption that the engine [see above] maybe installed/final assembly in Augusta GA)!
5000E - tractor Final assembly is Augusta GA!
5000M - tractor Final assembly is Augusta GA!
6000 series is made in either Waterloo IA or Manheim Germany depending on model! Engines are John Deere Powertech 4.5L or 6.8L. I know the 4.5L is manufactured in Mexico, I believe the 6.8L is from France...do not quote me on this item.
Note: tractors above the 6000 series and engines larger than the 4.5L may come from various places including Mexico, USA, Germany and France.
OBVIOUSLY THERE ARE OTHER PARTS/SMALLER ASSEMBLIES I'VE NOT INCLUDED HERE THAT MAY COME FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD!

My 3320 says Assembled in USA. The engine is Japanese, the eHydro is German, the FEL Canadian, the backhoe US. Some parts come from China. The tractor is just about perfect in form and function. I could not have cared less about a tractor color two years ago when I bought it, I do now. Green for me.
To the best of my knowledge the 6000 series is NOT built in Waterloo IA.
Same for one (smallest/cheapest) 7000 series.
The rest of the 7000, 8000 and 9000 series are made in Waterloo, IA. At least anything you would purchase here in the states.
Well said!
Ditto! Great tractor!
And for the record Rob-D, while I prefer to buy American-Made and believe that our very war-machine is effected by the amount of factories our economy requires........I none the less whole heartedly agree with you, Cocre & Pushing_Tin. I don't have a 3320, but I can't deny how nice y'alls tractors are!
I'm waitin' on a new 2720........it's almost all foreign! But this Green is nice
