Interesting... that shows it being in series. That should work if the BH is open center as there will always be pressure from the outlet port. I guess I will have to check if my BH is open center... :confused2:

I could be wrong but I think you would have to connect the BH hoses together if you took it off of the tractor.

I have a L3400 with a backhoe. When you disconnect the backhoe you must connect the hoses together.

Likely the same for the L4400 then. Thats what it looked like to me but I am so expert in hydraulics. :thumbsup:

Buying a pump would be cheaper then adding remotes... besides, I'm not too sure remotes will work with that backhoe. Most likely it has it's own oil tank in the frame and the valves are set to dump and pump oil from there... Not sure which pump to buy, ask that in hydraulics section... my guess it's going to run $500-ish????
