Guys, let it go! Liberal/ conservative, etc. are political ploys used as a stepping stone to an office. Politicians want you to draw lines in the sand, they get to point fingers and blame each other while nothing changes.

It's called 'divide and conquer' and everyone who parrots this name calling is a clueless pawn in the game.

It's a joke, Rush is a bigger joke! Let's listen to a corpulent amphetamine addict who can't regulate his own life. Yea! That's the guy I want to take advice from!

Now, my 3320 is assembled in the US, thanks for the map that was interesting.

I can make a slight correction, no let's say addition to the otherwise accurate info. so far listed: (additional information is relative to 5000 series and above)

2000 series - is made mostly in Osaka Japan By Yanmar. This includes the frame, engine assembly (perhaps transmission too...unsure). Final assembly is Augusta GA! Regardless of what else is made where, the bulk is Yanmar (note Yanmar plates on engine and frame, deere plate on ROPS assembly).

3000 series - engine is Yanmar! Other items are from varying places. Final assembly is Augusta GA! (Note Deere plate on frame----Moline Illinois)

4000 series - engine is John Deere Powertech (Made in Mexico at Deere facility). Other items are from varying places. Final assembly is Augusta GA!

5000 series - engines (2.9 or 4.5) are John Deere Powertech (Manufactured in Mexico at Deere facility). Other items are from varying places. Continue for tractor origin

5000D - tractor is made in Pune India! (It is my assumption that the engine [see above] maybe installed/final assembly in Augusta GA)!
5000E - tractor Final assembly is Augusta GA!
5000M - tractor Final assembly is Augusta GA!

6000 series is made in either Waterloo IA or Manheim Germany depending on model! Engines are John Deere Powertech 4.5L or 6.8L. I know the 4.5L is manufactured in Mexico, I believe the 6.8L is from France...do not quote me on this item.

Note: tractors above the 6000 series and engines larger than the 4.5L may come from various places including Mexico, USA, Germany and France.

OBVIOUSLY THERE ARE OTHER PARTS/SMALLER ASSEMBLIES I'VE NOT INCLUDED HERE THAT MAY COME FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD!

Now, don't go assuming he is a liberal just from a single comment. For all we know he could be a conservative with deep guilt over his own racist thoughts trying to overcompensate. Many people I know are hypersensitive and see their own shortcomings in everyone around them. I think it is called Projection, and the worse it is the more they attack. I think it is enough to throw a bit of light and let them see their own folly, but not rub noses and make the guilt level rise.

Oh Paaaalease, enough with the defensive analysis! You must be also be a progressive, gov't employed social worker or psychologist, with your own short comings to defend such an absurd, inflammatory comment, calling the poster a "racist," for referring to workers in the far east "Asian." Perhaps, he (and you?) are some of those people that NY Mayor Bloomberg called (paraphrased) illiterate, without passports, or knowledge of where China is.

I always make a conscious attempt to always buy American made products. My dealer told me (end of April 2010) that the 4320 I was looking at (and purchased), was made in the USA. No Yanmar engine. However, my Kubota 7510 is "mostly" made/assembled in the USA. We can't lament the lack of American manufacturing jobs and unemployment, while at the same time trying to shave pennies of an item by shopping at Walmart to buy goods and products outside of the USA.
regards,
Steve

To the best of my knowledge the 6000 series is NOT built in Waterloo IA.

Same for one (smallest/cheapest) 7000 series.

The rest of the 7000, 8000 and 9000 series are made in Waterloo, IA. At least anything you would purchase here in the states.

I did mis print regarding the 6000 series from Waterloo IA. Replace Waterloo IA with Saltillo Mexico. 6000 Series is either Manheim Germany or Saltillo Mexico (Sorry for previous mis-print)

7000 series in greater definition;
7130 & 7230 (non premium only) final assembly Manheim Germany. All other 7000 series final seembly is Waterloo IA. See my previous comment regarding engine origin for 7000 series and above!

Other than Saltillo/Waterloo mis-print. You can verify everything I stated with information right on the machines. Specifications as found on Deere.com only provides final assembly information.

Ditto! Great tractor!

And for the record Rob-D, while I prefer to buy American-Made and believe that our very war-machine is effected by the amount of factories our economy requires........I none the less whole heartedly agree with you, Cocre & Pushing_Tin. I don't have a 3320, but I can't deny how nice y'alls tractors are!

I'm waitin' on a new 2720........it's almost all foreign! But this Green is nice

Hi,
I had the 2720, it's a very sweet machine. I just needed more hydraulics for my place.

PS:
I served in the Navy.
