I find myself in agreement with harponalt as the 2660 really isn't all that much bigger than a BX1860 and you will probably not be able to trade even anyway. It is hard to imagine a 1860 being "better" for your jobs anyway.

Ok, so 2660 is the best bet for the littler things then (have to keep the cab on though cause I have an allergy to the suns rays and the glass keeps me out of the uv rays) my skin is so sensitive and pale that I will burn badly even in the winter and I ended up with an illness while younger and the treatment pretty much killed my immune system hense why I said I got sick from that day cause I can catch a cold/flu way easier than others can.

You will never regret owning the 2660. It's just not the tractor for everything you need to do. I think you would miss it if you got rid of it. A bigger tractor will be a pain for all the things the BX excels at and that is a lot. You need to start listing tasks you need to do and be more organized with your next purchase. List ALL your tasks, and what the BX will do and what it won't. Purchase a machine to do all the bigger tasks. 2 Tractors is ideal so you don't have to keep switching things around. Pictures are nice. Everyone likes pictures:)

Safely handing big squares requires a big jump up in size. If the large rounds are 5x5's, that also means much larger. I'm not sure what the dealer was thinking.

I agree, this looks like a real goat roping from the start with all of the poor advice given.

I always estimate a round bail around here weighs about 800 pounds - I am not sure your BX weighs too much more than 800 pounds so I can't think you would expect the loader would pick up a round bail!

Again sorry you are disappointed - Hang in there and you will get it all figured out.

A life change is often a good thing and enjoy the switch from the city to the coutry.

Keep the BX for now for the arena work and mowing, Find a good used JD 4020 with loader for the heavy work. Find a used 4X4 with a snow plow. I have 8 ac 3 horses one pony, had a hard time deciding on just one tractor. Decided that a 40hp with loader was better than 20hp, I move snow with a beater pickup that also used to haul hay or whatever around the house.

If he has access to the other money, that would be the best plan. Find a bigger, used tractor and keep the BX.

Hi Everyone,
It's been a while but things are just starting to roll, Kubota Canada contacted my dealer and he contacted me, they want my tractor in their shop so they can see if they can fix my problem, so far we all agree that there is a problem with the rear wheels, I didn't want to let them take it at this time since it was all setup for winter and we can get huge amounts at any time, I asked to wait for spring and the dealer said Kubota wanted this fixed now!! Well my tractor was supposed to be there for one day that is now extended to 7 or 8 days. So far they have replaced the right rim and cast weight, which was not as bad as the right so I don't know why. They asked me to come down and try it out, 50 mile drive, I went down and said I would not accept just having the right wheel replaced since the left was the one that had a flat spot. I said if they were done that I would buy a wheel myself and have it installed at home. The manager said he would not let me leave if I was not satisfied and he agreed to order a new rim for the left side, this is supposed to arrive Monday.
Please say a prayer for them and me, I want this to be a good experience for all of us.

God bless
I'll keep you posted
Jim

Hi Everyone,

I finally got my tractor back today, not very happy with the results. I don't think I could be fair if I posted details right now, I'll wait a few days after Christmas and I'll fill you all in.

Tomorrow I am going to take more videos of the rear wheels, I want to compare before and after.

Merry Christmas

Jim
