I live south of buffalo and got to use my blower for the first time yesterday. I am very pleased! The snow was heavy and still had no real issues. Definitely will take a little getting used to. Have a stone drive that isn't frozen yet so need to watch the height. Would definitely recommend the 47" front blower.

Live in Buffalo too, have had my 2210 for 6 years, works great. I usually use my bucket until I get some packed snow on my stone driveway. Have a good supply of shear bolts, you will use them.

Of course I am out of town and the tractor was in the shop getting fixed, just got it back today. Want to guess how many phone calls I got about this from my wife when the the forecast came.

Where In buffalo? I live in Colden/Holland area and was disappointed that everywhere besides me got a ton of snow. Im hoping to get more snow tonight so I can use it more.

If you can it helps to drive a few times on the snow to pack a base (works if only an inch or three). Also find it helps to shorten the toplink a bit to tilt the blower up a bit until the ground is frozen.

D'OH! Can the angle be altered as principle would be the same? Driving on snow to make a base still applies of course.

Cannot change angle. Just can adjust shoes. Can lift it up 2 to 3 inches with the shoes, but still at times pickup some stones. Like you said, I just use loader until get a base packed down driving over it.

I used to live north of Buffalo, so I'm familiar with Western New York and I know what kind of snow you guys can get. Heavy and lots of it!
Have fun with you new snow weapon. You're going to have ample opportunity to use it.

A neighbor has a stone drive way that I didn't plow because the stones have not frozen yet and I didn't want to plow out all his stones. Although I may have to do it anyway depending on how much snow we get tonight.

I live in east side of buffalo and am right on the edge of the storm. I think we have only about 4-6 inches. Two blocks south of here there is more snow than we have. I hear the some parts of south buffalo have about 36" of snow. :confused2: Was able to use my V plow first time. Works great. Here's a pic of what it looks like 5-10 miles east of us.
