John deere loader specs.

Depending on the age of the loader you might find the manual on the JD web-site.

I tried that, but JD does not give any specs in their manuals. They make it real hard to compare when they don't give any use info.

I don't know if it is just me, but I havent been able to access deere's loader specs for bout 6 months now. Something up with their webpage maybe???
But it used to be you click the tractor model on the left, under that click attachments, then scroll down to the loader. Once you click on it, it has a link to view specifications. Once you click on that, it used to display the loader specs. Now it just displays a blank page and at the top of the colum on the left in red letters it says "deere model not found"

I suspect that the manufacturers are leary of lawsuits is atleast half of the problem. Particularly with residential/consumer equipment. What you can lift on level ground would be far greater than what you can do on a side slope.
When you look at the Construction specs for Deere, Cat and others it is listed.

There are specs for the 520 and 540 loader. On some of the newer loaders 300CX have to dig a bit "Transporting a Round Bale". Granted this is not the level of detail I am guessing you are looking for, but it is something.

There are specs for the 300x and 400x are on TBN somewhere.... use the search function and your should find it.

Instead of a "whole raft", list the JD loaders you want specs on someone may post them. Give us a chance to help.
The manual for my 640 lists them, I also have old brochures with many models and their specs.
Well I guess I am looking for the 300 series. Not sure how many models there are but I would like to compare them to the Kubota loaders that go on their 30-40hp tractors.

I still cant believe JD makes it that difficult to find the specs for their loaders.
It can't be good for business. I would think for their "tech savy" guys that do the webpage for them it would be a simple fix.
I don't believe it has anything to do at all with lawsuits and whatnot. ALL OTHER manufacturs make their specs very easy to find. With the exception of bobcat. They have a more difficult site to navigate through.
But MFG's like kubota, kioti, mahindra, new holland, etc ALL have very easy sites that are easy for a potential buyer to navigate through and compare specs.

Maybe it has to do with the changeover in the tractor lines that is going on right now?? JD's site has never been super intuitive (esp. for such a hge company), so many they just took them off for now??

Problem is that both specs only go up to the 400 series loader. Nothing for the larger 500+. But what I was told when I ordered by tractor that my 512 loader will lift at least 2000# in the bucket. So far that has held true.
