I am pretty sure that is the way my son got his 4 wheeler shipped form Utah to Florida a couple of years ago. He posted the load, size, and weight, where it was and where it was going. A guy with a 1 ton truck pulling a pretty good sized trailer ended up bringing it for him. It was only ~$250.
The only issue was it was supposed to be delivered on a Saturday morning and the driver called us a 1100 at night and said he was ahead of schedule and could he deliver it at 2 AM. My son was excited to get the 4 wheeler so we got it delivered to our house at 2 AM.
