how do you get a good seal between the hose end and the qd plug. I just can't get one to stop leaking help any tricks?

There will be posts here for a week debating the use of teflon tape. I will not be participating.

>only use it on tapered threads
>don't cover the front/top of the threads
>Teflon need to be properly stretched
>wind the Teflon tape on, by turning the male threads the way you screw it into the female....make sense??
You should also be aware of the purpose of the tapered thread. It was not designed to be used many many times. Things like over tightening and galled threads, may never get a leak free connection. You may have to get a new tapered thread end on the hose, and or a new QD.
