...or the "cooking" and "sewing" forums (and no offense since I both cook and sew when I need to) Those topics can (and do) fit in with the Rural Living, Related Topics sections or even the Front Porch...
I personally think we need to Remove a forum... the "New Member Introduction" forum  I've seen several times people asking really good questions and needing to get an answer to their question but they receive the normal "canned" responses... no help so they leave. (NOT knocking the canned hellos... much better than none at all).
I said "NOT knocking the canned hellos" The problem is... that the newbies are not reading the rule. You don't like my welcomes... Like it says "NO TRACTOR QUESTIONS"...

Instead of the canned response... let's pick the last one you welcomed... http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/new-member-introductions/192547-leaky-318-a.html
offer for new guy advice to asking the question in the correct forum and point him to it....
Or the one before that: http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/new-member-introductions/192546-hi.html
..but don't stop with welcoming new people... add some personal touch  I don't do it as much but I try and find posts with no replies, and offer (thou, little) help (even if it's to bump the thread to the top so someone else might see and respond).Yes, I know. A little joke there...
OK, I think it may be time to do away with the canned "Welcome to TBN!!!"...
No,
too many forums
:thumbsup:Sweet! You're doing a great job!!!...I think the solution for us is ultimately going to be a "my favorite forums" feature which will hide forums...
