Grooming snowmobile trails.
What is that thing you are towing???
A snowmobile trail groomer. Has cutters that shave the snow, pulls the snow in the groomer then deposits it in low spots and packs it with the rear pan.
Did about 12+ miles yesterday with it. We have two trucks with tracks to haul the groomers, but the tractor works better early in the season until the trails get smoothed and filled.
I'll start a thread someday with some grooming equip pics.
Interesting. Did you build it yourself?
Got a cousin who lives in the Upper Peninsula and worked in the winter grooming state trails. Used a snow cat with heated cab. I think he said he had over 80 miles of trail to tend. Done mostly at night to avoid the snowmobile users. What is that thing you are towing???
Nice set up.Here are a few of mine...
I've recently upgraded to an L4610 and will be selling these two. In the past I would use one tractor when I needed the bucket, and the other when I needed the PTO or 3pt forks, now I can finally have one tractor that does BOTH![]()
