Any ideas on next BX update/redesign timeframe?

I say drop the 25 and give the 2660 a BH. Less product for dealers to stock and makes the machine more desirable as now a BH can be added later

You guys seem to be missing the point. Kubota makes and sells tractors. Lots of them. You want a small BX, they got one. You want to add stuff to it, you can. Maybe you need one a bit more powerful or think you do, especially if you have to best the neighbor. Kubota has one for only another $1000 to $1500 more. You know you can afford another $1000 to $1500 if you've paid about $10000 already. Oh! No! Your neighbor has now upped you with one with a BH. Trade and solve that. Maybe go to a bigger one with BH, snowblower, blades, FEL and let him top that.
Get the point, Kubota wants to sell them. Thay then want to sell you (me 12) another one a bit better for a small amount of additional money.
What does it matter to anyone that they make so many different models? If you have a BX2660, why does it matter that they make a BX2360? Or even a BX1860? No logic in my opinion that someone would want a company to just make one model for everyone except to be able to say my neighbor can't get a better one than me now since they only make one model.:D
In business it has been proven that buyers become discontented with their "stuff" when a new improved model comes out and a large number of the buying public will sell their "old" model Phone, TV, Car, Computer that does everything they need to get one of the new ones thus providing more revenue for the maker and the chain of distributors. It also allows the buyer of used stuff to buy used stuff that has taken the big hit in depreciation when it left the store. Also some people will only buy used stuff since they "think" it's cheaper and a bargain.

Come on John, just because you fell for that doesn't mean everyone has to. LOL

I tend to keep my stuff for quite a while, so I won't be buying anything new anyway soon, I will just find it very hard if not impossible to recommend a BX over a better equipped SCUT from another maker.

As long as there are guys like you that keep them till they (you or the machine) die and do repairs to them to keep the service/parts dept open and guys like me to buy one till it gets dirty and then buy another one and never see the parts/service dept guy except to buy oil and filters..............they'll stay in business.:D
I've told before that I shopped about 7 years ago for a diesel life time 4wd mower for a 5 acre gullied hillside rocky treed lot. Green was $3000 more than Barlows equal Orange and Blue was $2500 more than Barlows equal Orange. If the price had been the same then I'd probably went green because there are so many green toys, shirts and hats unless the salesman was a jerk then if blue was the same price I may have went blue. It all started 12 Kubotas ago because of price. I've stayed Orange because of the durability and dealer so I to would not say go Orange if I thought one of the others was a better deal for the price and had a good dealer. Dealer support is much more valuable now that I've owned some tractors than it was to me before I bought my first one. Even though I've had very little need for dealer service it's important for the few times I have.
Bottom line, this is the Kubota forum so most info here is going to be Kubota info. I never visit the other color owners forum since I don't have time and don't really care about their good, bad and ugly. If I ever decide to trade colors I would and I always suspect owners that don't own Kubotas that post to the Kubota owners site as being individuals that want to jump ship. They just haven't come up with the nerve yet to do it but they will one day. Just watch and see, they are discontented owners of the other colors.:D
TripleR I know your multi colored so I'm not talking about you. I'm talking about the ones that don't own any Oranges.

I have one upgrade. Front tires that will not go flat constantly.

The one front tire that goes flat or the one front turf tire that goes flat. I've already explained that a year or so ago about the one bad stack.:D

If that was the case, we would haven't gotten the BH right away...

True..I gagged on the whole thing at one time...I doubt I would have had the nerve to lay down another 5-6K after the fact.
