Looks pretty nice, especially for the price I would have liked to see a stronger main beam though. That S-shaped piece just doesn't look that beefy. I'd have prefered a box true angle beam rather that a bent piece. Workmanship looks pretty good except for the atrociously bad welds on the wheel spindle - see photo attached. Hopefully, the rest was put together better.

I noticed that you think the land pride rake is heavier duty, and it will offset, but you should not need offset for a landscape rake. I know the tines they use on their rakes, and where they get them from. I will put my tines and rake against that rake any day. We are building a category II rake with tines that are almost twice the size of any standard landscape rake (3/8" thick 1" wide). It should out perform any rake ever built, and will go on large tractors and will also be offered with a quick attach for skid steer loaders. Here at Everything Attachments we're working constantly to increase our product line, and bring you the best landscaping equipment available in this industry at about half the price of Land Pride or Woods.

To start with, the guy that I was trying to help has a Kubota M7040, a good size tractor. If he ballasts it, he will have a lot of power that has to be contended with. I just hate to see people make costly mistakes. Maybe your rake will work out well for him, maybe not. I hope that it does work for him. I know that it would not hold up for me. I don't really care for the LP models either, and they are over priced IMO but the LR3596 is the best rake that I know of. So when heavy use may be the case, that is the unit that I recommend. Why do you think that there is no need to offset a landscape rake? I think that if one wanted to rake out their ditches along a road that it would be easier to offset the rake. But I'm sure that different circumstances would dictate that. I could go on, but this is going to be long enough as it is.

Ted, how much does your 96" rake weigh? You don't show that. The Land Pride LR3596 weighs 483lbs. Your tines are what all the decent rakes have, nothing special. You must be talking about garden tractor rakes or the China built POS to consider yours twice the size of what most other OEMs are using. I'm not telling everyone that your stuff is inferior, but it is not built to hold up behind a larger tractor and have heavy use. I'm sure that your stuff is fine for the equipment that it is designed for. As far as being equal or better than the bigger name brands, No argument from me as long as your comparing apples to apples. The problem is that you don't even carry the big apples. You say that you sell the best landscaping equipment available. Are you honestly saying that your heaviest duty box blade that you sell, the United 896DHD that weighs in at a whopping 697lbs is as good or better than all the other box blades out there that are 1000lbs or well over? Come on, lets get real, it's not even in the same arena.

I see that Ted has clarified in another thread that they try to build the best implements in the category of implements that they sell. That is much better than saying that they sell the best stuff available. Ted, thanks for getting that straight. :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

Woods-Gannon would be my first choice, then maybe Land Pride, Gearmore sells a very good one also, although they are just a middle man for everything that they offer. Cammond builds some that are pretty stout. If you want to know that you will be trouble free, don't even bother looking at anything that is less than 1000lbs. You can expect to pay some money for one that is going to be trouble free and work well for you.

Please, please get us pictures and an honest review of your new landscape rake. From what I have seen of the ones available, I don't really care for any of them, but it sure would be nice to see one hold up to a bigger tractor.:thumbsup:

This is about as heavy as they come, that I can find anyway. :confused3: At least it is rated for a cat 2 hitch on a 60hp tractor.

I got the rake today....late. I put it on the front of the tractor and played with it for a while. It seems to be made pretty well in my opinion so far. I will know more tomorrow when i have more that 10 mins to try it out.
