Just a friendly reminder, you get what you pay for. I don't think that their box blades are all that good. You really should be looking at something that is at least 1,000lbs for your tractor, not 500+lbs. I guess that you may get your monies worth, but I doubt that it will hold up and you will be either repairing it or buying a new one down the road. Can't say as that I have ever seen an 80 or 100hp tractor with a cat 1 hitch and that is what they have listed for their 84" & 96" box's. You didn't buy an economy tractor, don't know how long the economy implements are going to last you.

Good luck ;)
I guess i did the same thing you did. I went to everything attachments and compared weights and found just what you said. They are a little on the light side.. United or K K seems to be better built (hearier) The rake wont be getting abused but the box scraper will get used. Actually, my rear blade with the side plates works kind of like a box scraper.

Picked up the KK or countyline at TSC last week in the 6' version. I like the rake and the double channel iron instead of the angle. I only have experience using one other rake. It was a rental unit and almost impossible to spin the tines around without lifting on one end as it would catch the main beam. The countyline version works great and spins in all angles with little effort. I am only using 32hp so a little different animal.

Looks pretty nice, especially for the price I would have liked to see a stronger main beam though. That S-shaped piece just doesn't look that beefy. I'd have prefered a box true angle beam rather that a bent piece. Workmanship looks pretty good except for the atrociously bad welds on the wheel spindle - see photo attached. Hopefully, the rest was put together better.
I called ET and talked to Ted. He's gonna check out this thread and the turkey welds.

Not to hound on this. It doesn't make any difference to me, but I am pretty sure that neither United or KK builds a box blade that is worthy of your tractor.

We have been looking at our stock of this item(over 100 pieces), and aren't sure exactly where this pic came from. None of the other items have welds of this quality, they are the professional quality you would expect. We can assure that this type of weld does not leave our facility

Woods-Gannon would be my first choice, then maybe Land Pride, Gearmore sells a very good one also, although they are just a middle man for everything that they offer. Cammond builds some that are pretty stout. If you want to know that you will be trouble free, don't even bother looking at anything that is less than 1000lbs. You can expect to pay some money for one that is going to be trouble free and work well for you.

Please, please get us pictures and an honest review of your new landscape rake. From what I have seen of the ones available, I don't really care for any of them, but it sure would be nice to see one hold up to a bigger tractor.

If you plan on using this much, or heavy use, you really need to be looking at ones that are quite a bit better. Your M7040 is going to mangle anything that is not truly heavy duty. Don't end up paying for it twice.

One of the things that those of us that have bigger tractors always need to consider is that many of the implements out there just won't hold up to our tractors. You may want to be looking at this one. It will at least match your RBT3596 blade. More money, but at least you wouldn't have to treat it with any special care.

Just my :2cents:

I noticed that you think the land pride rake is heavier duty, and it will offset, but you should not need offset for a landscape rake. I know the tines they use on their rakes, and where they get them from. I will put my tines and rake against that rake any day. We are building a category II rake with tines that are almost twice the size of any standard landscape rake (3/8" thick 1" wide). It should out perform any rake ever built, and will go on large tractors and will also be offered with a quick attach for skid steer loaders. Here at Everything Attachments we're working constantly to increase our product line, and bring you the best landscaping equipment available in this industry at about half the price of Land Pride or Woods.
