I just don't understand why Kioti would allow Daedong to do this again.
I'm talking about allowing Daedong to sell yet another color Kioti.
I remember back when Kioti announced to us that Bobcat was going to get "our" tractors. And now this.
Man am I glad I am not sitting in North Carolina right now at the dealer meeting, as I may have said something someone didn't like......AGAIN!

I guess having 3 of the same tractor in different colors will get the numbers Daedong is looking for.

At this rate Daedong tractor owners will have a better parts availability than Deer!:p

I guess with LS now selling tractors to New Holland Daedong saw a way to partner the same way to stay in the game. McCormick and Landini is primary an AG tractor company where as Bobcat and Kioti caters to the weekenders and home owners with some commercial and ag in the US market. There will be some overlap in some areas no doubt. It was a wise move to sell the whole range as I could see them selling the DK75 and 90s better at a McCormick dealer than some of the Kioti dealers. McCormick dealers already have large shops for large tractors with full time diesel mechanics on the payroll. A DK90 is a utility to most farmers where many weekenders it would be over kill. McCormick dealers are selling hay equipment also and the high end of Kioti is a great size for hay and forage farmers. Only time will tell if it was a wise move or not.

No offense....... but...

Gosh, that looks good in Red. There is something about a red tractor I find appealing and don't even know why.

Hopefully it will stand up to the sun and not turn pink like some red tractors are notorious for having done.

Sooo...reading between the lines...McCormick will now private label "Kioti/Bobcat" Daedong CTs?...in Red.

Has this just been announced? Are these the CTs currently on the McCormick web site?

Product development must be too high for each manufacturer to support their "own" line of CTs.

Yeah, pretty much. Case and New Holland get the LS, and McCormick is getting Daedong. This is not yet on McCormick's site. Gotta sell off the LSs first, I guess.

Decal tractors are interesting and the "Names", some of them, have little, if any manufacturing capacity of their own, at the cut level. It's strange world, to be sure.

Korea seems to be able to supply the manufacturing for re-branding tractors, at a price, that allows the re-branders to be happy with the margins.

My guess? and only a guess, is that Japan is struggling to compete with Korea on many fronts. Just as there is no genuine, small tractor manufacturing left on North American shores. Cost savings create these realities. There are lots of cost and currency issues involved here. China and India seem poised to soon erase the Korean advantage. Hang on, everyone, and keep all arms and hands inside the unit at all times. It's gonna be an interesting ride.

I agree, it's a sharp looking tractor.
