Did Kioti shoot themselves in the foot once again?

So does McCormick make their own loaders/backhoes or will they use others like the Bobcat/Rhino deal since Kioti makes their own loaders/backhoes...?

Bobcat makes their own loader now

I wonder how long until we see a GREEN Kioti. ;)

well Daedong already make the JD 6000 series under licence for the Korea market, so as JD are slowly farming out there production across the line to reduce cost, I think it won't be long.

Daedong also originally made the LS which followed through to the NH and Massy, that was until LS was bought out by LG who changed the design and stuck their Mitsubishi engine in.

Deadong even made kubotas back in the early days, now a long time ago and no link anymore but they are a company that has been around a long time, and kinda set the standard everyone else copies from.

As for china and india, I don't think china will be a problem, for tractors, they just don't meet emission and safety standards, you can go a buy a tractor from there, but be prepared to assemble it, they come in a fairly small crate.
India on the otherhand is a powerhouse, I think we will start to see more from here, labour is cheap but the quality is excellent and manufactures can build to there specifications, unlike china where they are told what they can do.
An example of this is SAME Deutz-Fahr they have a plant in china and india, the chinese plant was built, fitted out, but has been mothballed indefanantly because they are not going to be able to build to the standard they expect, inda plant on the otherhand is going strong, producing around 15,000 tractors a year, we have one sitting in our yard ATM if you didn't know it was built in inda you wouldn't pick it, it's well built, checked properly and no less of a tractor than the european equivilant, just a he'll of a lot cheaper!

Daedong is available in a lot of colors. White, Orange, Red, Green, and Blue. :confused2: That is a lot of brands under one product.

Is the Agrofarm 420DT (Deutz Fahr), distributed by PFG in Australia, made in India ?

Is the Agrofarm 420DT (Deutz Fahr), distributed by PFG in Australia, made in India ?

No, Agrofarm line is made in Italy, Treviglio Plant, Agrotron and Up all made in Germany.
The only tractors that are made in the Indian plant (that we see in Australia)
SAME Commando, SAME Tiger, Deutz Agrolux 60 + 75.
The Agrolux 85 is made in Italy (basically has the Agrofarm engine in it).
Essentially the only tractors made in India are the ones that don't comply with current emission regulations, which thank god australia doesn't have to comply with! (this is another topic, but check out the new agroton's, to meet Tier 7, they have dropped it to a 4cyc Engine to achieve 142Hp)

The interesting thing about SDF's Indian plant is it is actually an old European plant when those tractors were made in Italy, they quite literally picked up the entire plant and moved it to India. This has been part of the problem with the China plant, SDF wanted to use European Equipment & Standards just based in China, as of now, they still haven't been able to come to an agreement with the Chinese Government, so the whole plant has been mothballed, Based on the info we were told at a Dealer conference a little while ago, It doesn't look like they are going to reach an agreement so will probably never happen, besides that it was only going to be a Parts Plant anyway.
