2011 John Deere 5065M
After looking long and far, there is just so much more quality built into an M series than the E. I have come to terms that for that much money, its worth it. It will be here in about 3wks...I got the 5065M with front weight bkts, hood guard, and stereo, 16/16pwr reverser, dual rear svc, dual mids, no loader for $37500. About as good a deal as I have found....now, the waiting;)

From the looks you used to have a 5225 and then a 5045E then a 5065M?

Congratulations on your new M series! Another member of the 5000 club!

I'm waiting on a new 5075M. (Be about 7 weeks, though for me - maybe mid-April or 3rd week in April.)

Yep... cab, 563SL loader with SS attachment and 3rd SCV, frt. fenders, frt. weight bracket, deluxe grill guard, rear wheel spacers, air seat, buddy seat, 16x16 powreverser with modulator control, radio (no CD), rear lights and wiper package, CAT II quick hitch, ballast box, wheel weights.

Pretty well got everything... except the 32x16 tranny and the 3rd rear SCV option.

Figured I'd better just go for it! Don't expect to buy another new tractor for some time.

Might look for something in the 90 Hp range when I sell my 110 but it won't be new - a good used Ag machine.

So, this new cab tractor will be for the long haul.

Want to trade my 5085M for your 5075M? Mine only has 250 Hours , I tried being nice to it while I drive it :p . I also hate the SMV Triangle thing. Everytime I backup I cant see my hitch. I'm not short but i'm 5' 8'' I like to do is remove it when ever i'm driving it. Once I forgot to put it on.

I'm so tired of freezing my 'nads off all winter long on an open station tractor! :(

Can't wait to sit in that cab and turn the heat up... Heck, I might even turn it on this summer - just 'cause I can!!

Yep, that triangle is a pain! But, it does cover alot of your @ss, too!

The seat option on the open station isn't that well.. I sit all the way back and its still too close. Yeah you might turn that heat at night when your loading bales so your buns don't freeze!

Thats right Edward...regreted ever selling my 5225 cab, but the economy forced a sale to downgrade to an open station...THe 5045e is free and clear, so I had a nice down payment on this M.:) WHat about SMV? Is it in a bad position?

Its terrible! When I look back to hook up one of my 22 foot trailers atleast 50% of it is in my face!

Hey congratulations on the new 5065M! If the SMV is in such a bad place is there a better place to relocate it? It could be considered a "safety hazard" if it block's your view when driving in reverse.

When ever im driving I always take it off.

MY SMV pulls right off. I leave it off unless on public roads. Which is only a few times a year.

Same here. Even on public roads I have it off. Because im hauling stuff I have to see if anything fell off once in a while.

Thanks!..I would venture to say that I get on public roads about 10% of the time, so not a big deal for me. If and when I do, I guess I would relocate it via velcro, or something else to put it out of the blind spot.

Are you gonna get a loader to run the bale spike with? :D Or is it a 3pt model?
