Lost the key...

I put a short length of para-cord on my JD key and a plastic snap on the other end. The cord goes around the steering column and snaps.

That's a good idea!

The key always comes into the house and is always hanging on the hook with the other stuff. No losses............ Yet........ (knock on wood)

However, does anyone know where I left my 3/8" drill ?

I recently went snowmobiling in an area new to me. I was warned not to leave my sled unattended with the key in it as a local Jay has learned how to remove them. This bird doesn't even keep them, as several people have seen it drop the key into the snow while flying away. I'm assuming this bird likes his/her peace and quiet.

If you are like me you put it in that nice safe spot where it can't get lost or knocked down or found by someone who shouldn't have it, i've got lots of those spots it's just that i can never seem to remember where they are:laughing::laughing:

Well, I just I thought I lost it again, but it just fell down off the key hook. :ashamed: Well...I have left the key on the tractor, but that is not where I found it. The last time I had the key was when I was in the car and I reached in my pocket and realized I had left it in my sweatshirt. Knowing that if I put it back in my pocket it would probably fall out, I put it in the place I thought would be safest at the moment..In the sun visor. :ashamed: :mur: :confused2: To add to that, it was not in the regular sun visor, it was in the small visor (for when you have the regular visor in the side window) that is behind the regular one...:confused2:

"key"? what is a "key" for a kubota?

because a "key" for my NH (and virtually all other CUT's ive seen) is a flat slab of metal that will fit in the ignition switch. also true for golf carts.

Hard to loose one of those
