Which quick-hitch?

I wish I could do a quick hitch, but only half the stuff I buy would work on it so it defeats the purpose.

I don't like the way they deliberatly put the range shifter and the 3 pt. control handles in exactly the right spot so that everytime I get off the tractor they grab my shorts, my pants pockets, my coat pockets, my belt, my tutu, wait....not my tutu...

beppington.....Do you plan on posting details with pics on your Horn install??

I could I guess, but it's so simple the write-up below might be good enough(?) If I get motivated (& can clean up my embarrassingly dirty tractor a little ) I'll post a few pics under a new thread.

Are you getting power right of the batterie?

Yes. As I said that bar above the battery is grounded, so that's that for the ground & horn mounting. And the Kubota OEM positive battery terminal has a bolt on top of its connector that I can come right off of to power the horn. So, I'll run one wire from the battery's positive terminal connector straight to a 10 amp in-line fuse holder, then on back to the horn button location. Then a second wire coming from the horn button to the horn itself. I'm just routing the two wires from the front of the tractor to the operator's station by wrapping them around & tie wrapping them to the OEM wiring harness that runs down that side of the tractor. The 3 biggest concerns are 1) finding a good spot for the button, 2) securing the two wires underneath the operator's station (since I don't think there's an OEM wiring harness under there. Haven't looked yet, though), and 3) not blowing the horn all the time like a darn fool, since it'll be all new

Which quick-hitch?

I have a LandPride.

I wish I could do a quick hitch, but only half the stuff I buy would work on it so it defeats the purpose.

Do as I do and fabricate adapters for implements the manufacturer chose not to make QH ready. I try to buy QH ready stuff; but one can't always do that. I fabricate my adapters in such a way that the implement can be used with or without a QH.

Are you a closet Wal-Martian? :D

I've been sitting here for 10 minutes trying to think of something I dont like about my 2011 L4400 Kubota...

If you dont tighten the lock nut on the 3 pt side arm lift adjustment it will gradually extend. Fix this by tightening the lock nut.

On my Kioti there are 2 things that i am confused about.

2. The company INCLUDED an Ipod link cable with the cab tractor, but then hid the cable underneath the cup holder, and didn't tell anyone about it. its not in service manual or operators manual. why bother?.

My guess would be that the radio is a dealer installed option, and they did not use the Kioti kit, just bought a radio and installed it. The one they chose has the ipod cable, the Kioti kit does not.

... what do you like LEAST about your tractor?

I'm looking at getting a CUT or SCUT and want to look at the good and the bad, so I can make the best decision I can.

It's easy to list the good things, but what would you change if you could?

I wish I had a cab on my L4200. I really, really do.

Didn't read through all the pages but definitely put Kioti on your list. A lot of tractor, features, quality for a good price.:)
