Ford 101 Plow ???

   / Ford 101 Plow ??? #11
Sorry, not trying to highjack, but I started a new thread for my purchase yesterday in NE PA. I'm still looking for an owners manual, but to help me understand the off sets of the horizontal hitch points. How to maintain, grease, etc. Some much thanks to all!
Where can I find an inclusive manual for a series 101, model 10-462?

Kent Sweet has already responded that I got a very good deal.
I need help with a site to download( hopefully FREE) original owner/operators/ maintenance manual.

Much thanks again!
and Happy Easter
regards,
Steve

Someone will come along and give you a link to the free manual. That is how I got mine.

You might take some time and search threads for "Ford 101 plow". The manual information will show up somewhere.

I tried all fashions of that syntax prior to my post with extremely limited success.

I just bought an old Ford plow (photos attached). It is labeled FORD MODEL 10-336, S/N 1542. I believe it is one of the "101" series plows (seems to match an owner's manual that I downloaded from an old TBN post). It is a 12" model, based on frame measurement.
The plow seems to be functional as is, but I would like to purchase a set of new shares if they are still availble. The diagram for a 12" Ford share (on the Wiese Products website), shows three mounting holes with a note that two-hole and three-hole shares are interchangeable. My plow shares have two mounting holes but their pattern does NOT match the Ford pattern shown. The pattern does appear to match that shown for an OLIVER 12" plow.
I also found an old TBN post that stated some Ford 101 plows were manufactured by Oliver (and some by JD).
Does anyone know if those Ford 101's manufactured by Oliver actually use Oliver shares? Any other suggestions or information would be appreciated.
Thanks,
John

Ford 101's were built under contract with White/Oliver and Pittsburg Plow. None were built by John Deere.

12" shares are getting ever increasingly difficult to find. On my Massey Ferguson plows, I can use a 16" share on 14" or 12" frames. I simply cut them down to the length of a standard 12" or 14" share. Not sure if that's an option with Ford 101's or not.

Yes! - that is what TBN is all about. Folks helping folks.

BTW, Ford850 (Mark) I'll send you my email address as well if you'd be so kind to send me a copy. My manual is a bunch of individual photos in JPG format and takes up a huge amount of disk space. Thanks.

One more, rbcsaver, in what part of NE PA are you located. I'm originally from Meadville. The winters in the area can be brutal - like this last one.

Welcome back FWJ. Your experience and knowledge were missed.

gwdixon - I found versions of the manual online as well, and compiled those pages into one PDF so it is easier to access or print. I have gained a lot of knowledge from members, especially FWJ, so I try to give back when I can.
