BX25 purchase?

Looking for smaller to medium size tractor and found a 2010 BX25 FEL/BH/60" belly mower. Tractor has 51 hours. Asking price is $15,000. Mostly used for yard landscaping, smoothing drive, odd jobs....nothing heavy.

I don't need the mower, but it is all or nothing.

I hadn't considered a BH because of budget constraints, but this looks like a decent price from the many I've looked at. Yes?

With 51 hours on it it is for all practical purposes new. Looks like a good price to me at least for this part of the world.

I don't really need a BH either, but that would be a hard deal to pass up.

True but with 0% APR is might be cheaper to buy new.
When I bought BX24 new with 60" Mower I only paid $16,200. Have prices gone up that much???

This one has a backhoe ($$$) and FEL as well though. I've yet to see anything under $20k in this class for new with those options and the looking around I've done so far, prices with only a FLE aren't much lower than $15k. Then again, valuing tractors is out of my league.

All BX25's have FEL and BH. The price is a bit cheaper than a new one with out MMM. So, the question is the value of the MMM and the 0% Kubota Financing to you.
If your financing both tractors a new one without MMM would probably be less monthly payment than the used one thus total cost of new cheaper than used but again without the MMM.
If you buy new with the MMM and finance with Kubota 0% (I think it really costs about $700 for the 0%) then the cost of financing the used machine will really make the difference of which is truly cheaper.
The hours wouldn't be a big factor for me if it looks new.

Its a great little tractor, and you will be glad latter on if you need a MMM, and you already have it. Makes it a complet package. As John said all BX25's have BH and FEL, along with any of the BX2*, as in BX 22, BX 23, and BX 24. The BX 24's had the most trouble with plastic fenders, and bad floor deck suport. If you can go run it at the sellers house, for a hour, and you will know more about its operation.

I have the 24 and had the old BX22...My old BX22 had way more issues then the 24...It had a poor loader valve set-up, always leaked hyd fluid on the joystick, metal hood that rattled like mad, muffler bracket that broke alot, seat was not as nice as the 24, machine would creep by itself, backhoe was not curved (hit the sides of a hole when using), hour meeter issues just some that come to the top of my head..

I will take the plastic over the metal anyway...But some might feel the opp.

I think the MMM was way nicer then the new ones though...I hate the platic covers on the new decks.
