Already had a QA bucket so the Green's Machine Thumb and Markam tooth-bar are on the top of my list for handiest mods.

Cowdoc, can you show us some pics of your mods on your CCY EX3200 please?

I've made a few mods and I think they're great for my needs. Now that I got it all done I have to do it all over again on the new Kubota 5740HSTCC3 I have ordered :confused2:

- Modified the FEL tubes for storage area's by machining custom caps for the tubes.

- Modified the truck plow to adapt to the tractors FEL.

- Modified the bucket by adding a top guard and hooks.

- Added custom built emergency light bar and strobe light to the top of the cab.

- Added L.E.D. strobe lighting to the rear of the snow blower and built custom boxes to house them in.

- Added custom build boxes to the plow so Super Nova L.E.D. strobe lights could be installed adding extra lighting to the FEL side on when plowing.

- Added a reverse beeper. (not a small task on these tractors)

- Added a reverse camera with a color 7" LCD monitor that is also inferred and has a built in microphone in the camera it's self. The camera was adapted to the top rear light making it appear that it was always there.

- Gauge pods were added to each side of the LCD monitor and an ambient air temperature and digital volt gauge was added to each pod.

- Two RAM mounts were added in the cab for mounting various items like my phone and MP3 recorder. Also a new mount was just installed for the new IPhone 4

- A moisture sensing system was adapted to the wiper system so when I'm using the tractor the wipers will work automatically when snow or water is present on the windshields. That way I don't need to be switching the wipers on and off myself. The system takes care of that for me.

- Mud flaps were added to the front fenders to help keep the water off the front glass when traveling the machine.

- All powder coated upper mud flap hardware was removed and replaced with stainless hardware.

- All common steel hardware that was present on the snow blower was replaced with stainless steel to prevent corrosion.

- Some custom badging and company lettering was added to the tractor.

- Custom trim was added to the rear fenders to give it a more refined look.

- Added a parking brake warning light. Well a better one that came with the tractor

- The rear factory lollipop top lights that came with the tractor were replaced with L.E.D. lollipop lights.

- Added a few cool rubber holders on the snow blower to hold a shovel and bar.

- A LED light was added to the cab step so it's easy to see where to place your feet in the dark.

- I fabricated a custom front storage box with LED cornering strobe lights.

- Removed factory stereo and added a new Sony Xplod with Infinity speakers.

- Custom clock and interior temp clock.

- Modified the exhaust system so the soot would stop going on the FEL and it worked just PEEEEERFECT

Working on one new mod as I type this. Will post later.

Although there has been allot of stuff added to the machine you would never notice it at first glance. When I add or customize anything my goal is to make it look as if it's always been there.

Here's a few vids of some of it.

4short,

You should be working in the product development team at a tractor company. Thanks for all the ideas.

Thanks for the compliment! Heck if the pay was good I'd take it. With my luck the only tractor company that I'd get a job offer from is Tonka

Thanks. With the camera I used you can put up to three cameras o the machine and have them all up on the monitor at the one time or individually. One day before I got into this camera thing I asked the wife to guide me back to hook up the trailer. I won't go into exactly what happened but believe me when I tell you that these camera's are much cheaper than a divorce lawyer or even a burial  Yep. Worth every penny

Is that an iceberg in the first picture between the truck and trailer?

Yep it sure is. We get a pile of them around here. Just in case you enjoyed seeing them here's a few more. This one was a mile long and 1/2 mile wide.

Since my tire groover is still on its way to me, I'd have to say my best, most productive overall modification to the tractor is the added hydraulics. The three spool valve I added has opened the door to many more capabilities, like : top and tilt, remote rake swivel, snowblower chute rotation, tree shear (oops, havent built that one yet).
I like the use of the multi colored zip ties-it makes it easy to plug in the right attachment hoses to the correct QCs. I use black and (NH) blue caps and plugs on my stuff when disconnected but that just insures the proper hydraulic in/out flow when connected, not the which set of QCs to go to per implement. I'm off to the color coded zip tie store!
Tell me about the one lever with the blue ?foam? wrapping on it.

Simply awesome. Wish I had an ounce of your fabrication skills...

Pretty cute indeed! Any photos of the shovel attachment?
I think somewhere to stash the pitchfork and/or shovel is greatly needed. I also am impressed with the flashing parking brake light. Off to walmart...

Well, no wonder I don't notice the parking brake light-it seems I have an econo-model that's made without one-either that or it is very well hidden. My son seems to think this is an easy fix...anybody put one in from scratch and have pointers? I would even consider installing an irritating ding ding ding noise at this point. My response to having forgotten the brake several times, has been to start not using the parking brake when getting out to open gates or use the pitchfork. I'm sure this is not Kubota's intent, as the safety idea is to use the parking brake....The tractor is an m7040 (you know, the one with the red-hot, smoking brakes!).

Thx,
Suzy

Suzy I'm not familiar with the M series tractors. Your tractor don't have a park brake light in the instrument cluster? Mine Grand L do but I still kept missing it so that's why I put the other flashing light on it. In my case I just spliced into the existing brake light micro switch for a brake light in the dash. If your tractor has a brake switch I can provide a few detailed photo's that may help you.

Tatro grapple, WR Long 3rd function valve and toothbar for loader bucket. My EX3200 Cub Yanmar is a tree moving machine with these mods.
Cowdoc -

How hard was it to install that 3rd function valve. I have the same machine and will need to do this sooner than later. Any feedback would be great.

If you do much land clearing and work with wood/brush, a bucket grapple makes a big difference in how much you load in the bucket and saves a lot of off/on trips to load the bucket with a decent load by hand... Bucket forks in conjunction with this are even better. If I do any hand work i leave a pile. The grapple allows me almost always roll up and pick the entire pile...

Next to that a drawbar plate with welded on hooks to allow me to quickly attach a chain to the drawbar.

Like the tire sipping, I will have to look into that, as a little more traction would always be welcome:)

I've been wanting to add some lights on my kioti LK3054, I've even purchased two round utility lights cheap basic one wire self grounding via metal bolt and bracket spot light style. & I bought two rectangular tractor implement lights that create a trapezoid beam pattern. I've been seeking advice as to which ones to use whether or not the ROPES is best place to mount, if not then where? Do you have a toggle switch or are they set up to power on w/headlights any advice would be appreciated ..... B.T.W. I don't have a loader attached I just need more lighting.
