Tired of looking at used = new B2320

Well, a tractor is a rugged tool that works in dirt, so it makes sense that it would be rare to find a used one that looks like new.

It would be great to find a super low-hour machine that grandma drove to church every Sunday (down hill only, both ways), but they don't seem to be out there.

As I stated in a previous post the one I found was like brand new---but 2 years old--only 42 hrs. on it---the man only used it for mowing---but he now wanted a hydrostatic shift--he took the mower off & put it on a new B2320/hydro--
Guess I was just lucky as I had only been lookin for 1 week---

Not looking for "used like new" here--started by looking for a Ford N--and most good ones I've found had plenty of use but no loader etc. & cost to get right put the tractor into a 'not so good deal'. Looked at plenty, only had one 'heartbreaker' missed deal = me two hours late w. cash in hand.

Seen plenty of plain old dumb deals like a B7500 I drove 35 miles to see four days ago that was supposed to be a "like new std. 7500 not sure if geared ya can shift it while running and sure ya want a loader but this is top shape & guys are calling me all day" blah blah. It was a well beat B7500 DTN with Armorall sprayed on the chunked out ags + PTO engagement requiring a fine tractor arts degree. I showed him which pedal was the clutch; think he only had hired help use it.

Thanks for input on trailer & thinking 18' makes sense. Dealer thinks 16' fine but he don't haul it 800 miles.

Good, clean used tractors ARE out there, but like you, after you've looked at so many junkers and over priced units, along with burning up a $500 worth of gas looking at these units, one does become frustrated.

Finally, after two years of searching, I just caved to the Kubota zero. (back when it was truly zero). No regrets. With all the things I have to do on the endless "to-do" list upon getting new property and house in need to re-modeling, constantly fixing a older tractor, or worse, not having it up and running when it was needed the most, wasn't going to be helpful.

Of course, NOW, it seems like I see a whole lot more almost perfect, used units.

I write them it off as a mirage. Don't look back.

And about "used vs new" -
In the SCUT's/CUT's market there are a LOT of "driven by little old men only on Sunday on flat ground" tractors out there. The '07 in my picture only had about 240 hours showing when I bought it in April of '09, and that seemed about typical, 100 hours or less per year.

Lot's of old f@rts like me buy a tractor to lift a few logs, dig a few holes, push a little dirt. Things we used to grunt thru manually, but now say what the heck. We buy a $15K tractor, drive it for a few years, then sell it for $13K.

Note that my ride as shown cost $11.5K, had just had it's 250 hour tune-up (all fluids etc.) WITH the trailer and boxblade shown.

A quick search on tractorhouse KUBOTA B7610, Used KUBOTA B7610, KUBOTA B7610 For Sale At TractorHouse.com - Page 1 shows comparables TODAY going for $10K W/O the trailer or BB.

Heck there's one 2007 B7610 there being sold
