Just found out that 'Wine Business Monthly' will be featuring HydrauLink in their August issue! They are highlighting some of the main benefits as well as the authors observations of seeing it in action. Be sure to check it out. It should be a good one.

We've had a good number of BX owners asking for them. If you like, we can put you on a contact list for when they are ready to go.

Please add me to the BX version in waiting list also. Good to hear there's progress on the SCUT version. I'm sure owners of other brand SCUTs will be just as interested.

Hello
I recently purchased a Hydraulink for use on my new Kubota B2320 while using a box blade. I wanted to share my observations for those who might be on the fence about buying one. I bought mine at Agri-supply (best price around) and shipping was quick. Let me start by saying I had realistic expectations of it's use and limitations. I did not think this was a substitute for a hydraulic top link powered from the tractor hydraulics. I don't want to debate or make representations that this is the case. Instead I bought hydraulink knowing that it is merely a tool to make three point use more convenient especially if u do not have rear remotes on your tractor.

First impressions of the unit were a stoutly built little piece with very good quality machining and welding apparent.

The unit is easy to use and I like the versatility of being able to make quick adjustments on the fly. Having this flexibility make hooking up to attachments much easier. Using a box blade this feature makes pitch adjustments easy in order to change the aggressiveness of the cut In addition making rapid pitch adjustments allows me to increase the attachment clearance when loading on my trailer ramp. Naturally these adjustments could be made using a regular top link but with the hydraulink they are much faster.

The shock absorber effect of the unit also works well and is noticeable in the way the blade performs

I am happy overall with the unit and would recommend one.

Greg

Thanks for the unbiased review, Greg.

I can't reach the top link on my tractor, so until/if they ever come up with a flexable extension for the needle valve that will allow me to adjust it from my seat, I'll have to pass.

I was wondering if perhaps someone could make the round knob into more of a lever type. And then use some sort of a flexible cable to turn it open and closed.I Would imagine the knob doesnt have to be truned much to open and close .This idea could be a simple mod..

You've actually hit on a couple of things... closer than you realize. First, the first generation hydraulink (which stayed at the prototype phase) was equipped with a lever instead of the smaller wheel-knob you see on the newest one. We found that it gave the driver more control because (like you said) the valve only needs to open a little bit to work.

As far as the remote goes, here's where we are. We have two designs in the works. The first is a wireless style but development has been delayed on that for the foreseeable future. However, a wired, flex-cable style has been designed and we are fleshing out some details on it now. If all goes well with it, we hope to have some developed soon... we very motivated want to get them to market.

We may have a solution very soon for you. We are very motivated to make this happen... there's a lot of demand.

I'm glad you could understand my idea.lol I have a hard time putting things to words..I also wondered about a solenoid of some sort.. not sur eif that would be cost effective..

Add me as well to any waiting list.

I am anticipating that your Hydraulink will help keep my rear mounted snow thrower at the right angle while providing some flexability.
