I removed the FEL on my old JD for 14 years...never created any problems. those fittings are designed for removal afterall. And its much quieter to mow without all the clanging and banging associated with the FEL
Loader frequent loader removal a bad thing?

Somehow, I can't see mowing grass with either of my tractors. The AG1's would ruin any lawn and I've never seen a belly mower quite as big as they are.:laughing:
I've never noticed my loader making any noise but I don't run the tractor with the doors open. Climate control is wonderful and so is the CD player.

my old tractor was an open station and i mowed 10 acres of pasture with a brush hog. very niosy. if i had 2 days available, id have mowed it with my riding mower hehe:laughing:.

I remove mine also. Hit some stuff and almost took out gutters when turning sharp and lifting bucket to get out of the way...:ashamed:

I removed the Bucket, just to help with operations. The weight seems to stabilize the cut features, plus I improved my visability, while tilling.I did notice several hidden spots of rust on the pins when I pulled them. I will slime them down with grease on reinsertion.

The item that i really like is the loader cart from Bxpanded! That way I can push it out of my way when it is in the garage, then roll it over and hook it up when needed!

It would take one helluva cart to move my loaders around. Both the M and 105 loaders are heavy, around a couple thousand pounds each.

Take mine off all the time on the little L5030, handy to use with it off and lot smoother driving raking and tedding without it slamming. With bucket its about 2000 lbs, not very mobile. My alo loader on the big Massey stays on but only because it has softride and is nice and smooth at 40 km/hr (25 mph) on the road and in the field.

Hey smiley......
The loaders on the M and the 105 are actually easier to take off than the 5030 was. They are a lot larger but the alignment isn't as critical and the hookup is easier. Plus the loader on the M will offload without having a bucket on it. Takes about a minute to get off and 2 to get back on. Most time spent with the couplers below the door.

I would be more concerned about contaminating the hydraulic system than any wear on the parts. I don't see how you can help but get some dirt in the system if you frequently remove and replace the hydralic connectors.
