well, last summer I bought a wallenstien bx62 hydraulic feed chipper. after looking long and hard I decided to buy one of these units due to its overall value, I own a 4710 and figured it would be perfect for it. Initially I was sheering pins left and right, checked all the knives, deadknife ect... finally called wallenstien and spoke with james- he hooked me up with a yolk w/ a larger pin and all I can say is I am now COMPLETELY satisfied with this machien, wallenstiens customer service is first class to say the least, james was all over making me happy and solving the prob.
I have probably sent limbs from 200 trees through this thing now and many smaller whole trees with zero issues. when I do firewood I cut what I want and chip the rest on the spot no mess or piles of brush at all, the limbs can be chipped quicker than you can stack them out of your way and your not tripping over anything when cutting up the wood.......just wanted to throw out there my take on wallenstien.

cantbeat,

Thanks for the update. I'm real close to pulling the trigger on a Wally BXM32 chipper/shredder. I want to power it with a JD2305- they seem like they would be a good fit. Nice to hear about good customer service.

Good luck.

Frank
