Gunner I 'm a bit confused here. Is that a picture of seat before or after you made the change ? If after, seems to me that would have moved the seat back . What am I missing . Interested because I have a B2320 and I 'm 5' 6" . I could use a little closer to stirring wheel .

That is after I made the change to move the seat forward Sailor man-----Give it try---not hard to do---but it would help to have extra hands.

Thanks for reply, but I 'm still mystified. My mind must be thinkin' backwards. I checked out my seat and it already appears to be how you have it. If the bottom of the picture is the front of the butt sittin part, seems like moving the seat to the holes at top of picture would put it closer to the stirring wheel . I 'll think on it some more.

I raced sailboats for 15 years as crew, but age caught up to me . I too sure do miss it !! Still tryin' to figure how to afford a small single handed day sailor with shallow draft for shore campin '. I live very close to Lake Pontchartrain in La. Excellent for day sailing, shallow draft shore campin' .

Try one of the BX2660 seats when you are at the dealers. They sit quite a bit different than the standard one, and may address your issue. For me, the standard seat feels better.

My seat looks very different on my BX24. It got the upgraded seat back when there was a TSB or something like that. When I look closely there is a welded piece of metal that seems to stop the seat sliding furter or backwards more. I really would like to go about another inch or so forward and it looks like there are enough slots in there. My thought is if I take off the seat and grind a slight amount of metal off so that the seat and slide forward another inch that may help. If it goes wrong I can always tack a weld back on there, it looks like I only need to grind off about 1/4" to allow the seat to go further forward.
