NOT true at all.

It was NOT meant to degrade ANYONE.

It is mearly my words being twisted out of context.

I make NO insinuations about anyone else or what their trucks are.

BUT to ME and ME only, I went from my wannabe truck to a real truck.

I wasn't offended by your post. It's amazing the numbers that always know so much about something they've never had.

On another note, You know there was fellow in DC politics that used the word denigrating in a speech. He lost his job for it.

I guess I will choose my words more carefully next time to appease those of you who have nothing better to do than load a guys thread down with these usless and pointless posts.

99% of the posts on this and most other forums are useless and pointless. It's part of the fun. You create the thread, sit back and read all the comments. It's a slice of society, you like some parts you don't like others. I've never started a post and liked or agreed with all the responses but I like the fact that there were responses. Can't be posting threads around the Internet and have thin skin.

I knew the "real truck" comments might start up some back-and-forth posting and I did it because it was fun. Did you catch the smileys I put in the post? The response I liked the most, or should say found the most amusing, was the one about there being x number of lugs to qualify as a truck. Who knew?

As for what constitutes a real truck, I could put wheels and a steam engine on a barge and call it a truck. Doesn't mean I want to drive it around. :)

Hey, that was me that pointed out the lug nut count. I think you were denigrating me!

Look around and you will quickly see that most anything with less than 8 lugs is a grocery getter. Not made for hauling significant loads, and by significant I mean more than your family minivan which surely hauls lots of stuff.

The people that are most offended are those who don't own real trucks. Funny thing eh? Bunch of six luggers.

I just took the real truck comment to mean it was an upgrade from what he had, not any kind of brand bashing.

Of course I am a Cummins powered Dodge owner, Maybe if I owned one of the other brands I would of been offended

Pics of my 5.9 and 6.7L, also to be fair some pics of the mighty inline six that blew it's cookies. It can happen:eek:

My BIL's 1/2 ton Ram Mega-cab has 8 lugs. The cab is huge and great for family trips. Bed is too small to carry any significant loads, but sure does a good job hauling luggage and groceries.
