Where does the hose/pipe I marked with arrows go? I think somebody has routed your PS so it draws from the main hydraulic reservoir instead of having it's own reservoir. You don't have to change the PS filter because you are using the main reservoir for both PS and Main hydraulic. What year is your tractor? I've never seen this before. . . my DUH!

i am guessing someone before me removed it? in the picture below i see two holes next to the air filter assy. i am guessing thats where it should be? so how do i drain my system now? how do I get it to the correct level?

is anyones steering noisy when they turn the wheel? I can still steer with a finger but it is a bit noisy
