Long Sleeve Western Shirts

Does anyone know of a good place to get them where they are not too expensive and more importantly, fit well? Many of the shirts I can find are either too baggy, or the sleeves are too short, or both. Many people I have talked to also have this problem, even though we are all different sizes.

I am 6'1", weigh 160 pounds, and have a 31" waist. Most mediums tend to fit well at the shoulders, be a little baggy at the waist, and the sleeves are about 2" too short. If I go up to a large the sleeves come down enough but the shoulders are a little big and it is really baggy below my arms. I have been dealling with the too short sleeve on mediums but would really like to find something that fits better.

I am hoping some of you guys had the same problem and found a good place to get shirts.

IMHO western shirts are like quality western hats you almost have to try them on,or know which brand fits you.With that said TSC on occasion will get a run of decent ones at fair prices.
My favorite western shirts are "Roughstocks" by panhandle slim.Roughstocks you have to purchase from western wear stores.
Wrangler and Schmidt also make decent ones IMHO.
A western wear store on net with good prices IMHO is Fort Western.com.They also have great prices on quality saddles but remember those have to be fit for a horse,mule etc. You just don't buy any saddle and put it on a horse,also rider needs to know their measurements.Bowhunting is another perfect example of gettin fit for rite gear.

I have a similar problem, but I need XXL Tall shirts, XXLs are too short (both in the sleeve and torso).

I heard it recently from a friend who runs the "PRCA" circuit they have some new western shirts out nowadays that are resistant to lipstick on the collar ! :laughing:

I used to have that problem but my wife or sister would taylor them for me. They did a darn fine job at it too. But when I got to be about 40 they no-longer had to do that for me. Some how the chest, belly and but came to be about the same size.
