umm i cant get past 8" on my current 2 holes i have been working on. maybe ill take some vids

You can easily check the 3PH linkage adjustment I mentioned: Disconnect the auger from your two lift arms. Drop your 3PH until you're positive it's all the way down. Stand on one of the lift arms if needed to make sure it's all the way down. Make a little mark 9or use a little piece of tape) on one of the two 3PH cylinders, marking where the bottom is. Re-connect the auger to the lift arms. Try to drill a hole. When the auger stops drilling, look at the cylinder you marked ... If the 3PH is all the way down to the mark you made, then that's as deep as it can go the way you currently have your 3PH linkage adjusted. You'll need to adjust your 3PH linkage so the auger goes deeper when your 3PH is at the bottom of its travel.

One way is to move the lift arms' vertical linkage members to holes that are closer in to the tractor.

EDIT: maybe i am missing something or doing this wrong, the only adjustment that i have is on the lower right hand 3pt arm where it connects the the hydraulic arms of the 3pt hitch, the top part of the auger just hooks up where the normal upper link would go and is hard mounted there is not adjustment.

Pictures of your setup would really help us help you. Do you have any adjustment holes on the boom itself like mine in my picture below? I have 7 different positions to choose from. Too far to one end will cause the auger to drag on the ground while driving and too far to the other end will cause the auger to not dig very deep.

I have only 2 holes for adjustment, the stupid thing is i have gotten it to dig a 36" hole before it just took me 20 mintues.

so i know it can go that deep, it just takes forever

Perhaps the 3pt is moving too smoothly now for the bit to impact properly. Perhaps that jerkiness before was to improve the bit contact.

I am very sorry for my comments above. They were below the belt and totally uncalled for............... I just couldn't resist myself!
