I don't have a well, but I got a water bill today for $222.76.:(

my water bill is still only around $50, but that is only because I declared if the weeks could sprout on their own they could find their own water too! I don't have enough actual grass to try to save any.

On the other hand, I went to see a guy about a bucket and his poor yard was nearly dead St. Augustine grass. His last bill was over $750 and still wasn't enough to overcome the heat and lack of rain.

Yeah! What do we win?? more of the same??.

Sadly, I don't think this drought is near over. The weatherman on DFW channel 8 said a "cool front" will be here Monday, down to just 100, but hey, we get a 20% chance of rain!

Well wind picked up and could hear the thunder and nothing:mad:

Don't know where those storms came from, but you guy's in East Dallas Co. and further East looked to be getting some decent rain!

Trade you your water for my gas bill Bird. Price dropped to 5.40 a gallon this last fuel barge!

Rick

:laughing:Yeah, Rick, I've driven to Alaska 3 times, so I understand about the fuel prices up there. But I don't know about prices for electricity. My bill this month was $274.50 for cooling.

No cooling costs here in Kodiak, Bird, just have to open the window once in a while. Once you get off the road system the fuel prices get really high but at least my electricity is free, and no water bill as my spring takes care of both of those needs . Guess there are bargains of one kind or another everywhere.

Rick
