That's just not right.

That's just not right.Bird, I can't help but believe that's highway robbery. Does Corinth have to pay Dallas for water like so many communities? Didn't you say all the water came from wells? Many towns with wells and their own reservoirs have to pay big prices to Dallas when they need extra water. I am truly lucky to have a great well.
Well wind picked up and could hear the thunder and nothing![]()

No, Jim, I don't think any of Corinth's water comes from wells. It comes from Lake Lewisville via the Upper Trinity Regional Water District. As far as I know, it's all from their Lewisville Treatment Plant. In this hot weather, I guess we take more showers, do more laundry, and I've tried to water enough to keep the grass alive, but certainly not as much as it appears to need. However, according to the bill, we used 30,529 gallons. It's hard to believe we used an average of a thousand gallons a day, which is more than 5 times as much as we used in February or March.
But I don't think we have any leaks indoors or outdoors.
Bird,
Is your sewerage fee bases on your water meter?
In the East most communities that have water and sewer for the community and/or surrounding communities use the water meter to figure the sewer bill. The sewer bill is usually 2X the water. So if you water grass a lot it really costs you even though you are not really putting that burden on the sewer plant.
