SeaFoam like or dislike?

I have an old McCullough chainsaw that sat in my barn for about 8 years. I recently got it out and poured about 3 tablespoons of seafoam in it, pulled the starter rope 4 or 5 times went and ate lunch came back, poured 40 to 1 gas in it chocked it a time or 2 and it fired up and I have been cutting wood with it ever since. I was down to my last half can and bought 2 more cans at Atwoods today. wouldn't be without it. Use it every thing that has a motor, gas or diesel. Thanks, Speedy2

i use seafoam as well.. very much like it.

I've half considered it as a gun cleaner. I wonder how it does on powder residue....

Non-chloronated brake cleaner works wonders on my hard to disassemble Rugers. I just have to pull the grips of they turn to jelly.....:)

When Bill Ruger designed the jacknife take down mechanism, he designed a simple locking mechanism that can only be reassembled one way...the hard way.

As an aside, O'Riely's sells Seafoam in gallon containers.

Amsoil power foam was a great product when i used it. But it is not at the local stores. Another cheaper alternative to seafoam is Chemtool B-12 in the gas..BTW. Gas jumped to $3.49 a gallon today, curtousy of greedy raskels.

Been using Sea Foam as a gas additive to keep the injection systems in the cars clean.

Never used it in my car, 2003 Tahoe with 177,000 miles and running just fine. I've heard about Sea Foam but I also believe in not fixing what isn't broke.:)

I love using SeaFoam because the crap gas we have now destroys all the rubber tubing and all my equipment runs badly when I forget to add it.

My Pick up will run the E85 fuel but I am saddled with the E 10 fuel here in New York and it runs horribly and gulps fuel if I dont add a can of SeaFoam.

I am retired and work part time in a small engine shop. We use for direct injection in 2-cycle engines that have carboned up. It does a number on them
and gets them back to running good. It should help with the carbon buildup from the crappy "corn" gas the oil companies are making. I recommend it for injectors and valve cleaning.

I see most everyone is sold on Seafoam as I am. I also use Berryman's B12 Chemtool in the spray can as a down the throat cleaner.

I bought a gallon can of B12 carb soak that I haven't tried yet but will soon.

Glad I don't live near either plant (Seafoam or Berryman). Must be some nasty stuff floating in the air, there.......:D

Too bad Prestone took the really good radiator flush crystals off the market. That stuff really cleaned a radiator. The stuff you get today is wimpy......:(
