mefyj and brewdog need to team up for a big party on the lake. Brewdogs Party Boat and Mefyj's Bungi Jump Tower.:D

Now a serious question for both of you. How high up can both of your lifts go? I got a couple of Alders in the back yard that I'd like to trim some of the lower branches. I just may have to build me one of these things.

draganof1,
my lift is 100" to the floorboards. Add your working height to that. I think the bunji jump tower has me beat.

Brewdog I think your setup might be a little more stable since the ground around my trees is a little hilly. 100" is more than high enough. Now I just need to finish my Tractor build.:D

I've found a new use for my re-purposed Man Lift. The misses wanted a new door trimmed today so I used my portable workstation to haul everything to the house. The saw stayed on the platform and made the whole job really easy. I used my portable air tank to run my finish nailer. One charge of 120 psi air did the trick.

That is a really nice build. That has to make life so much easier than messing around with ladders or staging. I think I'll have to build one to compliment my new loader now...excellent job. As far as the safety police go, I'd say ladders are a heck of a lot more dangerous than a nice, stable work basket with side rails, safety chain, etc. Almost everything has inherent risk to it. ladders fall all the time, causing serious injury. If you keep your equipment in good shape, inspected for defects before each use, I'd say you're operating in a very safe manner. Nice build.

Way cool Brewdog! Did you run out of blue paint for the conduit rails?

Everything good except I did not see the safety labels. Did the new paint job cover them? One example would be: Not for use in California....

Heck, it seems that everything is Verboten in California unfortunately. :(

Much simpler model.... However ya still need a helper

That's nice! I wonder if you could make a post hole digger accessory for that 3PH forklift.

mjncad,
Thanks! No, I didn't run out. I thought the Galvanized finish looked okay on the conduit with the blue. Not being much of a painter, this is as OCC as it gets.

Did you notice my color coordinated air hose?

Brewdog - you would earn bonus points if the conduit railings happed to line up with your mitresaw (elevation) to support whatever you are cutting  Nice attachment.
