ZG - I presume that means gas?

I have a different brand (green in color) but have looked at Kubota and they look fine to me. The 60" should be fine on your flat area.

In my situation I am considering selling my 60" with about 200 hours and buying a diesel.

Sounds like you made a good decision. Enjoy your free time which will result from faster mowing. ZTRs are the only way for me

Thanks guys, the only thing I don't like so far is it doesn't have lights!

That is something that I am putting on mine this winter, also a finish fabbing up my rack to hold my 15 gallon roundup tank on the fold up rops. LUTT

Well I finally got to have a go on the ZG327 today, been too bus planting corn to have a go!.

Man its 3 or 4 times faster then my old JD lawn tractor, I need more lawn to mow!

In some thick kikuya it had its tongue hanging out, it would not want to be any less HP. And I'm thinking of getting the Mulch kit so that will make it work!.

I cut yesterday with a ZD 326 60" the dealer dropped off for a few days. Awesome machine. What normally takes 3 hours on my B2920 with 60" MMM only took 1.25 hours on the ZD.

I was also able to comfortably mow across a hillside that takes quite a bit of time mowing up and down with the B2920.

I'm happy with the cut from my B2920 but the ZD is scary fast with a little better cut.

The ZD was a little rough at times due to my property but overall a nice ride.

The price is tough to swallow but I'm strongly considering one.

I thought it was rough at first but then slowed down to the speed that my old JD lawn tractor mowed at and the bota was smoother then the JD by a long shot. Time is money to me so if its twice as fast its a win win situation I say!, and if its more then twice as efficient well thats a bonus :D.

Today the Local Kubota dealer brought out a ZG222 and a ZD221 for me to demo. Beautiful bits of machinery but I am a little undecided. I have pretty much scratched the ZG222 48", but like the ZD221 54" very much, the only dislike was the ride, he suggested bringing out the ZG327 60" for me to try, he thinks they ride better due to bigger tyres and a bit longer wheel base plus a suspension seat.

Im just a little worried the 327 will be too heavy and wreck my lawn? any user experience/suggestions between the 200 and the 300 series would be greatly appreciated.

I love the Diesel due to the fact it was quiet (although when mowing the ZG222 was only a fraction noisier) and i don't have to worry about stocking petrol/gas due to everything on our farm is diesel.

Decisions Decisions.
I had & just sold my diesel 2007 kubota ZD326 pro model(60 inch deck)for a 2011 JD X740 garden/lawn tractor(diesel)60 inch 7-iron deck. The kubota ZTR was built like a tank, mowed fast, and very dependable. My problem it was **** on my lawn(tore it up) and to heavy for my yard.We live back in the woods & the lawn stays pretty moist most of the year.Other than that they are great ZTR,s.coobie

The ZD (323) reduced my cutting time by 2/3s. I came from a big box store 54" rider. I didn't know you could cut grass at 9 miles an hour and have a quality cut.

I let a few pounds of air out of the back tires and allowed the front axle to float. That helped smooth the ride.

The price is tough to swallow but I only had to write the check once and I will never have to buy another mower, it will last my life time plus the kid's lifetime.

The ZG is lighter then the ZD series, I drove my Zg327 on a freshly watered lawn and it didn't leave any marks other then lay the grass over, and our ground gets very soft when wet so i was happy with the result, you cant screw it round on the spot but can turn a lot sharper then my old JD and it will not damage the lawn.

Added some lights to it as well, I have taken the ROPS of and mounted them on the holes where the rops pivots. Just put some of those cheap 24w square LED flood lights off fleabay, Worked ok, plenty of light but a big shadow right in front due to the LED's being so far back, but could see the edge of the deck really well for cutting close to gardens and the like. They obviously would work better on top of the ROPS but I have to cut some branches before I can put it back on.
