Any of you other 3000 series tractor owners notice the power steering is a little squeeky when you turn the wheel? I am just getting used to my new 3720 but I find the squeeky sound of the steering to be a little annoying is there something I can check or adjust?

It's not just the 3000 series. My 4320 does the same thing. :smiley_aafz:

My 2010 4320 OS has some steering noise but not that bad. The 2007 4320 I had did not make any noise at all. Noise could be really annoying inside a cab tractor.

Hey Charley are those skid steers weights on ebay in the same quality comparison as the unverferth 4" wheel extensions I have read about here? That is an excellent price thank you for telling me about them. My only concern is how does the quality of the part look to you? Will you be installing front spacers also or just the rears? and also could you do a photo tutorial if you would not mind? I think I will end up odering these.

I am late to answer this but they are cast weights and the quality is good. I will post pictures after the weekend. They work well.

Oh, they're heavy OK...no disagreement there. This is a two man job and, if the wheel/tires gets away from you, let it fall!!

My rears are 41-14-20 turfs. They appear to be bigger then the turfs on DP Property's 3720.

Always use two people. Unless only one is available  This size wheel and tire I handle alone ( assuming they are not fluid filled). Full size ag wheels need 2-3 people.

Mine were filled...and yep, they were heavy!
I had a buddy of mine help me.
One thing about handling fluid filled tires...if you lose 'em, don't try to stop them from falling and get out of the way!

A. The dealer response may be a little less than accurate. The OE radio in my 2011 3720 was defective. I know the ceiling panel was removed to repair/replace it, because they did a sloppy job of reinstalling the heat/air control panel on the opposite side. Now I've got a working radio and air, but no heat.

B. Squeaky steering bothered me from day one. First they tried grease, it worked until about 5 minutes after the service tech left. I gave them the problem to work on again, but this time suggested that they install one of those big white nylon washers under the steering wheel nut. Apparently that's what they did, because it's not squeaking any more.

Hi Greg your answer Is my solution also I think. It seems when I tilt the wheel up high in the position I like it there is something under the rubber cover just touching the rubber enough to make an annoying squeaky sound. When I drop the position of the wheel lower the sound is not as bad. I am going to the dealer in the morning to pick up a new 72" Frontier rotary cutter and he told me they have a 3520 there we are going to play with to find a solution. I am guessing there going to give me a nylon washer and show me what to do on my new 3720- thanks for your help.

My open station 3520 issues creaking grunting sounds in the transmission (had me worried for some time) but the steering is absolutely silent. Might it be something to do with the cab ?

Cab or no cab has no relation to the fact that there's a clear and present squeak when turning the steering wheel. But I've no doubt it's easier to hear inside a cab - as opposed to on an open station 3720
