SUV storage box

I have been trying to find something to store tools, jumper cables, gloves, etc in the rear of my SUV. I had tried a carboard box but they do not last. Most options seemed to be in the $200+ range. I stumbled across this in a Google search today and I picked up two of them as I saw on one site they may be discontinued

I bought a box made by the same company, but just a touch different at Wal-Mart back in August for the kids to use to keep their goat tack in. I think it was $17.99 or something like that. Mine probably isn't the sturdiest box in the world, but it was light and cheap. Sturdy and big enough to keep stuff in without being oversized and heavy.

get an ammo can.

various sizes, many with gaskets, and good lift handles. Plenty of uses, I have an ammo can tool box in every truck, plus on a few tractors. everything from small arms calibre to linked 40mm to rocket cases.. superb IMHO.

I've even got a couple of the wooden arty crates. great for chains and a comealong etc...

my wife once asked why I had SOOOO much ammo.. and then I told her.. well.. the guns are useless without it. and in case of disaster or insurection.. etc.. might not be able to run down to wally world and get more for a long time.. er.. or ever.. and other people might want our stuff.. and if they do.. we give them the ammo first.. tha hard way.. for them anyway..
