Might I suggest filling your tires with Elijah Craig 18 Year Old, or maybe Wild Turkey Rare Breed. That way you can look forward to the next leaky tire! And it will not freeze in the worst of winters!
Just don't try to use ether to seat the bead if you have to reseal it.You would probably burn the tire from the inside out.

Best guess estimate, it MIGHT cost well into the thousands to fill a 14.9X28 rear tire, but think of the possibilities for all those empty charred oak barrels!
Volume discount?

It looks like it is likely to be WWF for me. i found a local fuel oil/lubricant seller who will charge me 120 dollars for a ~205 L drum (55 gallons). Just about 2 bucks per gallon, delivered to my farm

That's not terrible as I have to do no mixing whatsoever. I might either DIY or get my tire-guy to fill it up.

that and a drill pump, burp valve and a lil hosing, and some time on your hands and you are good to go..

water ( free ) and rv antifreeze is what I'd do...

16.9 x 30 at 75% fill will take about 73 gallons per side... calculating water weight alone, that's about 609 pounds PER side. add in the antifreeze as ballast and the number will go up slightly.

thus at a minimum you are looking at adding about at least 1300# for just the cost of a few gallons of RV antifreeze. napa here has it at 5$ per gallon. burp adapters go for 5-9$ depending on where you get them.

Agree!!Thats what I had them do when I purchased the tractor(water/anitfreeze) they done it for free...

Even more convenient than a drill pump are small 110V utility pumps with hose fittings. About $20 at HF.

Even gravity works fine though.

I'll go shopping for a burp valve and pump. Any particular valve you guys prefer?

the burp valves are pretty generic.. tsc and napa sells them.. they usually come with a few different adapters for the tire nipples.. etc.

Having decided to shop for a "burp valve", my first stop was at The Google:

"Cautions
If you decide on interment in a mausoleum there are some considerations you need to be aware of. Caskets have been known to explode in a mausoleum, just as they may in a ground burial. The difference is there can be extensive damage to the mausoleum. Protective seals or liners (including those with 'burp valves') will do nothing to stop this. Whether choosing a mausoleum or sticking with a ground burial, don't bother buying a protective sealer or liner. Some mausoleums may not be as waterproof as you think and water can actually get into the caskets and cause damage."

And I thought rusted rims were the only problem:laughing:

I thought over that idea of keeping whiskey in the tires. It just won't work. Everyone knows, whiskey won't keep.
