No. ETA is about 3.5 weeks. I still recommend the individual units over the combination machines. It seems people are always more happy buying the separate units. With that said the PPRO 205 is a decent little unit.

Its a PPro 256...not a 205. The 205 is a better unit in my estimation for what they are designed for.

I teach at a tech college. I need 2 good tig units to replace Miller HF251. Any ideas? I saw the one on welding tips and tricks. I liked what I saw.

The new 250/315 EXT's are all digital, and easy to use. Have had one in a tech college for a year now testing. They have been more than impressed. Call me, and we can get an educational discount.

250's are 220/240 single phase.
315's are 3 phase 460/480.

i just read about the everlast products. I am in the market for a plasma cutter that I can run off my Miller Bobcat 225 (8,000watt generator/welder) and "wheelbarrow" style gas compressor or a plasma with it's own air source.
I read a lot about air dryers but not sure how to install one on a portable compressor.

What would be a good plasma cutter for doing light demo work (sheet metal, purlins, angle iron, rebar, etc.) that would cut fairly fast and not break the bank for a first time plasma cutter user.

I read a lot about air dryers but not sure how to install one on a portable compressor.

I started out with my Motor guard system mounted on the wall under my after cooler. Latter it hit me, that was dumb! Not that I use my plasma outside the shop, but do use air tools way away from the shop, so I built a little aluminum frame to carry the system.

I'd start with the PowerPlasma 50's. They are easy to use. Several people here have them, and its a good unit to handle about any thickness most people will come across on average. Its small and portable. It also is an inverter with the more reliable IGBT's to power it.

will the 50 work with a Miller Bobcat 8,000 watt generator? I see the specs call for 8500 watt?

If its older, probably not. The older units did not have a very clean output.
