Well,
You see, the welding brush, comes with a Tig torch for 229.00 and we throw in the work clamp, a stick electrode holder, and a plastic case to hold it all. A fair price? No wait, we will also include this handy little welder for the same price, you pay just the handling charge.:D Subject to availability.:confused2:

And of course, its before you apply your TBN special price...

Does the tbn price apply in canada? Also do you sell many mig welders, because an everlast mig costs about the same as (or more than) an equivelent miller machine, and I dont know why anyone would chose an everlast over a miller for the same price.

EDIT: the small everlast machines cost about the same as miller, and the larger ones cost less.

Not if you compare features, prices and performance. All ours are inverters. Theirs are heavy, power hungry transformer machines with low duty cycles. Ours also stick weld, and have adjustable arc force/inductance control. We also use much heavier drive systems, all aluminum and steel versus plastic wit Miller and Lincoln. Ours weigh half as much as well. We use a high end euro connection MIG gun from Either Binzel or Trafimet. Also ours give a digital readout of wire speed and volts. Oh, and look at duty cycle to compare.

Yes, we sell a lot of MIGs. They are one of our best products.

I think you are looking at a price and assuming that you are getting less with ours. Even though our prices are still cheaper than Miller we are giving you WAY more. Go look at one of their inverter MIGs.

Ok so yours are inverters, that is a bonus. But millers drive system is cast aluminum, not plastic like you said. Also I think some of millers migs come with bernard guns, although I think only the large ones. It seems like you make very good products, and I will consider them when I look for a tig. Also does the TBN discount apply in canada?

I cannot speak as to how MUCH of a discount, but they may be able to provide you with one if you mention it here.

The Miller units I have seen locally have a plastic housing for their drive. Lincolns do for sure. Plastic isn't all bad, but all aluminum/steel does speak to the fact it is well built.

Also, as I said the units will also stick weld and are provided with stick torches as std equip.

Bernard, I believe is a ITW/Miller owned company. Its a good gun and many people like it, but people generally like the ergonomic construction of both the Binzel and the Trafimet guns...very comfortable in the hand and flexible.

ya bernard is owned by miller, I have never held one on the guns everlast uses, but the miller ones seem nice to me. Also, on everlasts website, it said Binzel STYLE gun, which sounds like a copy to me. (if the site is wrong, please tell me, I am just saying what I saw there)

No copy. Real thing. Why it is worded that way is as we are now, we are using the Trafimet brand torch for many of the welders, but the basic style is the same as the Binzel. Prices swing on us from time to time, so we may have either Binzel or Trafimet, and they use the same consumables, so its in the same "style". Quality is top notch on both. The great majority of the units sold have been Binzel though, and likely will return. Other companies ARE using copies, I can verify that.

OK so it is real binzel torches. I am really wanting a dc stick welder for my shop, and after seeing the price of the lincoln invertecs and miller maxstars, I am really thinking it might be the everlast powerarc 200. I will hopefuly get a dc stick in the next few months, and I have a few questions about the powerarc 200.

#1 how many amps does it draw at max output

#2 what is the weight with and without cables

#3 does it come with a clamp or screw type stinger

#4 how hard would it be to replace the stinger with the bernard shortstub from my tombstone if I hate the everlast one
