hehe. i dream of not having enough driveway to need a blower  This photo is old, but shows most of the roads. It doesnt show the path to the arena or the arena that needs plowing or the 400 feet of driveway to the house. It also doesnt show the carriage barn that has a 300 foot drivewy to approach it. Im a driveway nutcase i guess.

From that photo it's hard to believe you used a 3ph blower for 14 years :confused2:

I like that Erskine front blower that's driven by the rear PTO...still losing the loader though but what I've read, it's an easier change over then the mid-PTO driven blowers. Price is a bit less then you paid...but just a bit less.
All academic for me...I don't have enough drive way to justify a blower although I did look at a 60" 3PH model last year (good price on Craigslist).

Any idea how much those Erskine front blowers run Roy? I checked out the link you posted in another thread but was unable to determine any kind of cost. They look very well built.

No kidding... sounds like he could have used one of those fancy Ferrari tractors that you turn the op station and seat around to face the rear.

I think I read around $8000 or thereabouts...steep, but definitely a viable alternative to the hydraulic FEL mounted blowers ($10K to $15K). Of course, the FEL mounted blowers are quick attach and you'd lose the loader using the Erskine system.
The nice thing about both the PTO drive-front mount Erskine and the hydraulic blowers is you can use them on different tractors rather then the dedicated brand specific front mounted blowers.

I think the PTO driven blowers are more powerful than the mid PTO blower on my 3320. It was torture going back and forth between getting a front blower or a read one. I got a good price on the front blower from my dealer so I went with it.
