Hood for JD 4410

My neighbor, who is not very computer-savvy, had a piece of firewood fall on his 4410 hood and break it into pieces.

When I look on the internet, I see ones on eBay for $299 with free shipping, and ones for $240 with $25 shipping.

Does anyone know of a used hood which might be available for less?

Those are about the only ones I've seen, Dave.
Might find something at a tractor salvage yard. Same hood for a 4300, 4400 or 4310.

Remember that he will need to salvage fuel door if possible and a right & left side decal set which I think are $35-$40

Probably the hinges and hood latch too, IIRC. I think that's about all the hardware.
Reckon I'd pass on the decal set...

I don't think so. It has a fuel door in it which is a hole ~8" in diameter...

The front of the 110 hood drops down (anteater style) more then the 4410...more in common with the 3x20 series machines.
The rear fenders look to be common with the old 4x00/4x10 series machines though. Of course, he doesn't need a fender.
