I missed logging on this am. Went to church, then bfast, then TSC. I thought I was going to work outside today, but it looks nasty out there, pretty windy, chilly. I will do some little things, the wife is going shopping, so I have a little me time. I want to put the asphargus to bed, adding some chicken poop, compost, and mulch to the bed. Then I have to finish off a new chicken roost I started. Lots of stuff to do, don't know how I did this stuff when I was working!!

It was 37 here this AM, gradually warmed up, with a little sun every now & then. I guess it got up to 50+ by afternoon... it even removed the last of the snow on the ground from our 3" of flurries last week!

Finished leaves, decided grass is done growing, so the deck came out to be washed, prior to lubing & sharpening & putting it away for the winter. Finally finished putting the garden to bed, used my slick used Woods 40" tiller on the 3PH. Man is that thing fast!

Finally got around to removing the plug from a long extension cord out to the chicken house, and installed one that is 90 degrees, and rotatable! Now the d*** cord will go flat against the wall behind where I park the tractor & utility trailer. These plugs are fantastic. McMaster-Carr has 'em. McMaster-Carr Not cheap at $11+ each, but they really work.

Fixed a "rattling" ROPs light; found it had a crack in the base. Whatever the plastic is, it's extremely amenable to super glue- no more rattle!

All in all, a nice, quiet day, got lots of outdoor stuff done. Unfortunately, no motorcycle time....

Coffee in the cup. 40 degrees this morning with rain. Heading to the low 60s today. Yesterday was not a shirt sleeve day. Kind of gloomy, but temperatures were nice for this time of year.
Going to install snow blower and tire chains today.

40 degrees right now, having coffee, going out in about two hours to continue pulling out Autumn Olive trees. Used to cut them off at ground level, now I just yank the entire thing out with a chain and tow them back to my brush pile.

Goodmorning! 55 and light rain. No leaf cleanup today. Coffee is good though!
